WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2008 coming to Wii, DS, PlayStation 3

THQ and Jakks Pacific have jointly announced that WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2008 will debut for the first time on Wii, DS and the PlayStation 3. The game, which is also coming out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PSP, is the biggest cross-platform launch for the franchise.
The game is said to have many improvements over the 2007 version.
“We want to build on the success of the 2007 game,” said Ledesma, who designed the game along with fellow creative designer Bryan Williams. “This is a party game and we wanted to cater to our fans. I can’t emphasize enough how much we listen to the fans. We want to hear what you want so we can deliver that to you. We want you to be happy with your purchase.”
New to the 2008 model will be the presence of Extreme Championship Wrestling, new fighting styles for all wrestlers, a struggle submission system, a 24/7 mode and upgraded animation.
Eight superstar fighting styles have been added to the game, each having their own strengths, weaknesses, and strategies. Specifically, these are hardcore, high flyer, submission, powerhouse, brawler, showman, dirty and technical.
The game will still allow the players to create their own wrestler and pick their own arsenal, look, and fighting style.
For the submission aspect will see players grasp intuitive and natural control of their wrestlers, allowing them to determine the amount of pressure they’ll apply to their opponents, thanks to analogue controls.
In the new 24/7 mode, it will basically be like living as a WWE superstar. The ultimate goal is to attain WWE Legend status and enter the Hall of Fame. In this mode, you’ll be able to manage wrestler’s fatigue, injuries and other conditions.

The game is expected to ship in the final quarter of this year.

u should add more weapons and areas to fight at the entrance way where the superstars coem out of. like being able to climb up areas and jumping off them

haha its me again. umm i got another idea that would make the game mroe realistic. u can make like the camera men around the ring and security guards around the ring to maake it more realistic and more fun.

2 make the game more fun u should be able 2 make ur own songs on the games like the music and lyrics and should make the ladder match more realistic make a 10 foot ladder a 15 foot ladder and a 20 foot ladder

I do like this game but you can also make it better by adding in any match like you could say like you want a steel cage in the middle of the match and it comes down and in every match you could burry people alive
