80GB PS3 launches in Korea
It appears that the 80GB version of the PS3 has launched in South Korea. It must have because there is only one reason to have scantily clad women around, it’s either a college party, trade show or a large corporation is launching a new product, my guess is that’s the case here. If anyone out there can read Korean maybe you’d like to help us out.
We may not be able to garner anything from the Korean site but Engadget seems to think that the 80GB PS3 has indeed launched in Korea.
What is the rest of the world going to do? With our now inferior 60GB PS3 models, it just won’t be the same when we plop a game in and turn it on, knowing that there is something superior out there is enough to drive any gadget fanatic to insanity. There are those of you that are probably willing to go so far as to having it imported to your location, more power to you but as far as this author is concerned, it’s not worth it.
Sony needs to release the 80GB version in the US and Europe, the sooner, the better. A 20GB increase in capacity may not seem like much but think of all the extra porn content that can be put on it.
It may not be much of an increase but I think I join every other part of the world in saying “we want that extra 20GB and we want it NOW!†You know you do, admit it.
