Sony happy to work with new EA Sports President, Peter Moore

By Danny Mendez

Sony happy to work with new EA Sports President, Peter Moore In what can only be described as either mature or butt-kissery, Sony has publicly announced that it will be happy to work with its former enemy, Microsoft’s former VP of Interactive Entertainment, Peter Moore.

Last week Moore, as a Microsoft official, bashed Sony for unimpressive sales in Japan. Moore spoke with little restraint, as if he knew about his impending leave.

Those fighting words didn’t leave Sony bitter though, as Sony is excited to work with Moore according to a recent public statement.

“We wish Peter the best of luck in his new role at Electronic Arts and look forward to working with him. We have an outstanding relationship with EA and their sports products have been incredibly successful on all our platforms. I am sure this will continue with Peter now at the helm.”

With Sony struggling in third place in the race to win the console war, Sony doesn’t have much of a choice but to suck up to third party game makers.

It seems as if though Sony’s trying to mend old wounds in order to maintain a better business relationship, but if Moore’s a bitter man, we’re going to see a lot more butt-kissery coming from Sony mouth’s.

Is all the bashing just harmless PR business or is Moore going to hold on to an old bitter rivalry? Share your thoughts and drop some English in the comments below.

    1. Money Talks:

Moore will play ball as a 3rd party developer when he takes up the EA seat. He is there to make a company prosper, so if Sony wants games, he’ll see to it they get them.

    2. will smith:

Sony needs to step their game(a) up.
