Bungie says Halo 3 online co-op not fragged yet
By Danny Mendez

Currently, online co-op gameplay is official for Halo 3, but Bungie struggles to make it a reality as the feature proves problematic.
Bungie’s own Frank O’Connor comments on the problem in the newest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly.
“I think the biggest problem for us for online co-op is that we have a situation where you can be in a Warthog with five troops, almost a mile away from the other player. That’s a significant challenge. And there’s lots of design things you could do to prevent that from happening, but they would make it not feel like Halo anymore.”
Bungie and O’Connor aren’t keen on giving up on the long awaited feature.
“We’re not dumb. We know that people want it and we’re trying to make it happen… If we can make it happen in a way that works well, we will - and if it works badly, we won’t.”
Bungie is usually down for delivering on the goods. My fellow Halo fans know what I’m talking about, but this is something Bungie has to pull through, even if it means adding the feature later in a download.
Halo 3 has to be perfect, and if it’s not, fans around the world will either stage a coup or complain very, very loudly. This is the cap stone to the Halo series, Bungie, don’t mess up!
