Xbox 360 more popular search than Nintendo Wii

Xbox 360 more popular search than Nintendo Wii There are small victories and to me, this is a small victory.  The Wii might still be the best selling console in the world over but the Xbox 360 has overtaken it in the online world as the most searched for.  Perhaps hype regarding the Wii is dying, maybe due to its somewhat lacking graphics?

The Wii has the fastest growing market share but when it comes down to it there are still more Xbox 360 consoles in homes.  Recently, the Xbox 360 might have seen increased searches due to the new extended warranty or because of the sheer numbers of “red ring of death” failures but data gathered by Digital Media Wire says it is not due to those searches.

At the number one search spot for consoles was simply “Xbox 360″ at 10%, in fact, searches for any problems regarding the Xbox 360 didn’t show up until until spot number 13.  The data may suggest that there is going to be a surge in Xbox 360 purchases due to new games being released and a price drop.

One could only hope, a powerful console should be at the top of the sales chart and with a little luck, maybe we are headed in that direction.  For those wondering, the PS3 is dead last as far as interest is concerned but perhaps some yet-to-be released titles will bring it up to the number two spot.  Only time will tell.

LOL! dream on. It’s high up on the search because people want to know if the failure rate of 33% is true or not to which they discover it is!

The race is lost for MS, sure they are still in it but now it’s just a sympathy run, like the Afghanistan women who competed in the Olympics but was never a chance, hey but at least she tried.

According to this, bluray is also going to lose to HD DVD.

HD DVD is a much more googled term than bluray.

The most powerful console is almost never (or maybe never) the most popular. The PS2 dominated last gen, but it was the least powerful of the group, and of course a year head start would put more 360’s in homes, but I doubt that is much consolation for Microsoft who have seen that year lead almost totally wiped out in a matter of months.

Honestly, you need to change the name of your website to Wiihater.blorge.com or Xbox360lover.blorge.com. I am new to this website and this is the 2nd article that I’ve read and it has fanboy written all over it.
