Game Crazy: $350 for new 60GB PS3, $200 for new Xbox 360 Premium

Game Crazy, the wannabe Gamestop, is running a crazy promotion for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 that can drop the price to some pretty very low levels.
But you can’t just walk into a Game Crazy store and get one at that price, there’s something you got to give up first: a slim Playstation 2 as well as an original Xbox or original Playstation 2. Here’s how the deal works:
Game Crazy is giving buyers an additional $50 towards a new PS3 or 360 if they trade in a PS2 or Xbox. The credit you get for trading in an original PS2 or original Xbox is $40. You get $60 for a slim PS2.
So if you trade in a slim PS2 you get $60 plus an additional $50 towards a new PS3 or 360. That’s $110 dollars off, making the price $390 and $240 for a PS3 and 360 respectively.
Trade in your old Xbox or fat PS2 and get an additional $40 store credit. Apply that to a next-gen console and you’ve got $150 off the original price, bringing it down to $350 for a PS3 and $200 for a 360 Premium. Although I have not confirmed if the deal actually works, Scorch, a supposed Game Crazy employee, says the deal is good to go over at the CAG forums.

I called 5 gamecrazy’s in the bay area and they will only give $50 credit towards the next gen system.

Either the employees misunderstand the deal or they haven’t heard of it yet. But if you want confirmation, check out this SlickDeals.net post. They’ve confirmed it many times over that the deal is indeed on.

i called game crazy and they dont that a xbox 360 premiunum that has a HDMI that allows u to play Live, and game crazy say its gonna come out soon. anyone knows when it does plz post it so i can get the 360 ty

the deal is
u trade in an xbox or any ps2 and u get 50 bucks….. but the xbox u get 50 and ps2 is 40
so it would be 100.. or 90…. no 120 or anything… and its not like ps3 loses money or 360… and it was only for one month it ended the 24th

You can trade in multiple consoles, but you only get the $50 credit towards one next gen system.
I know that for a fact.
