With over 50 awards under its belt, the highly anticipated Xbox 360 title, Mass Effect, gets an official, final launch date.

GamePro reports that Mass Effect, which is being developed by the creators of another highly anticipated title, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, will blend RPG and tactical action elements into one "M" rated experience.

Mass Effect won the 2007 Game Critics Awards for "Best Console Game" and "Best RPG" at this year’s E3 in July. The game, according to Microsoft, has received about 50 other awards as well.

Mass Effect will retail for $60 and will will hit Europe 3 days later, on the 23rd, according to MCV.
