Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Xbox Live
I guess I wasn’t so crazy when I wrote about continuing the Marvel vs. Capcom series, and it seems the new Capcom VP of Interactive Media thinks it’s a great idea too.
Call it a coincidence, but in my last article on continuing the Marvel vs. Capcom series, I listed the email addresses of a few Capcom corporate employees and asked my readers to flood them with emails asking for another MvC game. Now Gamasutra reports Justin Lambros, VP of Interactive Media, thinks it would be a great idea to have the series continue in possibly a downloadable form on Xbox Live or other console download digital service.
The interview between Gamasutra and Lambros was really about EA’s new Marvel fighting game, which will feature large arenas with destructible elements. Does that sound familiar?
Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects was EA’s first attempt at a Marvel fighting game ever since they nabbed the licensing rights for the characters, and Rise of the Imperfects can be described the same way. While amusing at first, after a few fights, you quickly realize Rise of the Imperfects turns out to be a repetitive and boring experience. If EA tries to fix Rise of the Imperfects in a re-release under a different name and premise, gamers will not accept it happily.
When will Marvel learn? They tried working with EA and it was a failure. When Marvel worked with Capcom, the games were hits and are now selling for upwards of $80 on the web. It seems Marvel chooses to learn the hard way, and if I could say one thing to Lambros, it’d be this: If you want a successful Marvel fighting game, get Capcom to make another Marvel fighting game, or EA will continue to defame your characters!

Well it’s already 08 still no mvc3. Capcom really needs to think of how much they could profit from marvel vs capcom 3. 60$ a game, online 6player tag team 3-3 battles, download able characters, rank games, and new game modes. $60 times millions of gamers waiting they could make more than what they spent making the game….. Well maybe capcom
will wise up, no I mean WAY UP and do what they hav to do to make the game Good, Fun, and ONLINE!!!!!

This whole thing about MVC3 is upsetting, I don’t think Capcom as any intention of making it since they have announced Street Fighter IV. While I do like both games it’s safe to say that MVC3 would out shine Street Fighter 4, and why would Capcom want that when they were backstabbed by Mavel. It’s clear that Marvel doesn’t know crap when it comes to games.If they did they wouldn’t make crappy games based on their poorly made movies and they wouldn’t work with EA Games! The Imperfects felt like I was playing a sports game. If Marvel has any intention of ever making a GOOD GAME again they’ll pull their heads out of their asses and go with WHAT WORKS, instead of wasting money making shitty games that people don’t buy. IT’S SO SAD, NEITHER MARVEL OR CAPCOM GIVE A FLYING F#%K WHAT THEIR FANS WANT. AND EA GAMES, U GO HELL, U GO TO AND DIE!!!

I got to say MARC is right mvc3 will put all other games to rest including gears of war 2. I think the reason is because EA has put out top sports games and CAPCOM hasn’t done much. THINK MARVEL the only game to ever come out that out sold any game to ever drop, and its still doing that now in 08-09 forget EA run!!!!!!!!!!! and I mean RUN BACK TO CAPCOM and give us what we wont A REAL GAME!!!!!!!!!!!
