Xbox 360 to beat PS3, Wii due to games and online capabilities
The Xbox 360 is in an unstoppable winning position in the current generation’s console battle. Apparently.
The big debate still raging in the games, and mark my words, it will rage forever and a day, is over which console will win this current generation’s hardware battle. Before any of you say it isn’t important, it really is, as history has shown us that being number one at the end of a generation cycle can instantly affect the next generation hardware sales battle as well.
Regular readers will know that we here at Blorge follow the swings and roundabouts going on amongst the major players religiously, and have made it our main topic of conversation. However, some other sites only just seem to be cottoning on to the importance of the hardware battle, and this generation’s in particular, which is still too close to call.
At this point in the game, it’s fair to say that any of the big three – Nintendo with it’s Wii, Sony with the PS3, and Microsoft with the Xbox 360, could still emerge victorious. CNet has now entered the debate, and they have gone with the Xbox 360. A strange choice seeing as the Wii seems to be on an unstoppable march to victory, and the PS3 having seen a momentum building set of sales results in 2008 so far.
However, the writer, Don Reisinger, does explain his choice of victor, and his two main reasons for backing the Xbox 360 over the Wii and Playstation 3 are games, and the online component.
On games, he claims that although the PS3 has an impressive set of exclusives still to come – Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, and Little Big Planet, the Xbox 360 has a much stronger lineup of games overall. As for Nintendo, he claims that every major title for the console is already available, with none on the horizon, so sales will surely slow down.
As for the online battleground, Reisinger claims that on this score Microsoft reign supreme. He goes on to describe Sony’s online experience as “junky”. Nintendo meanwhile, are again said to be completely lacking in that department.
He concludes his article by claiming that although Microsoft is currently in second place in console sales, it will emerge the winner so long as the games and online capabilities continue to reign supreme.
The problem is that despite the Xbox 360’s supposed supremacy in these two fields, it is getting its butt kicked on a daily basis by the Wii, and lately the PS3 too. So when is this switch going to take place?
People deride the Wii as a underpowered piece of crap, but it has captured casual gamers imaginations like no piece of hardware ever has before. As for the PS3, I hardly think it’s lacking in the upcoming games department, and were I in the market to buy one of the three, I’d personally plump for the Sony machine at this point in the war.

i like the fact cnet articulated why the 360 will be #1 this gen. meanwhile, the ps3 loving bloggers simply stick to “the ps3 will be #1 because i said so”… kinda shows just how little the ps3 really has to offer.

Kevin: As usual, you’re talking garbage.
The PS3 is hammering the 360 everywhere except the US, but if you call (March NPD figures) 262k vs 257k ‘wiping the floor’ you’re deluded, sunshine.
Now Europe – there’s wiping the floor for you. PS3 has overtaken the 360 in less than 14 months, despite the 360 having a 16 month head start. Asia never bothered with the 360 at all.
Upshot? Sony selling more consoles worldwide than MS. And don’t give me any bollocks about Blu-Ray or attach rates – discounting the 16 months when the PS3 didn’t exist, it’s pretty much the same as the 360’s.
Come back with whatever you want – I’ll be too busy laughing to respond again…

No one’s catching the Wii, they win this round. Xbox is over. It’s lost Europe & Japan and has been slowly losing North America since late last year. It’s an aging system with a poor line-up of new titles, no HD movie playback, no wifi and no bluetooth.
And FYI, the North American market is of comparable size to Europe (read: not the largest, about even). And with the weak dollar sales in Europe make much more money than sales in North America. Why do you think Nintendo is making sure they have plenty of units while in the states you can’t get one? A PS3 costs the equivalent of $600 and still sells more than an Xbox at half the price.

its funny jonathan… you claim that you have TWO Elites… now… should we count that in with the overall sales.. does that mean that out of the 20 mil units sold in NA… there are 20 mil owners??? many (who bought the core) had to buy another one (to get the extra features) so… it seems like there are 360 owners with multiple 360s… just an observation….
I would rather have Home be a PERFECTLY useable product… than it to be a half assed stupid silly add on… or something that makes me RETURN MY CONSOLE BACK to the manufacturer… XD and I would wait for that… I have to wait a year for a proper net connection anyways… a little patience goes a long way…..

One thing I notice time and time again, analysts don’t have a clue what they are talking about regarding gaming.
Every analyst gave the PS3 hell for having tons of features that drove the price up. Now they are all eating their words. Blu Ray won Sony the HD war, and the PS3 has been gaining momentum for a year now and it doesnt look to be slowing down anytime soon.
When comparing the life cycle of the 360 and the PS3, they are actually very close in sales, despite the PS3 having no AAA titles. Now we look to the year ahead of us……tons of AAA titles are coming out for the PS3. GTA4 is boosting sales of the PS3, more then it is the 360. MGS4 is going to give the PS3 a huge boost also, then GT5 etc etc.
The PSN network isn’t as “full” as XBL in terms of content, but I find the servers to be better for gaming. This has even been said in reviews of many current online games such as COD4 which is better on PSN.
Truthfully……the 360 has no big exclusives on the way with the exception of GOW2. But GOW2 is not a system seller as the main audience for it already own a 360.
I do agree about the Wii seeing slower sales due to there big titles all being released. This happened with the gamecube also. It saw great sales until all it’s titles were released, then it slowed down because there was no 3rd party support. The Wii is going to lose because it has no 3rd party support.

the one factor the ps3 zealouts tend to forget is; consoles sell the most aggressively at $199 as proven by the ps2. which console do you think will hit $199 first, 360 or ps3? if you think ps3; you’re wrong.

the 16 months the ps3 didn’t exist is a non factor as there are supposedly 120 million ps2 gamers just WAITING for the ps3 to launch. well, it launched and 119 million gamers didn’t show up to the party.

Xbox 360 winning this console are are kiiding yourself or what what kind of idiotic just is this they have only 5 exclusive games for this and maybe 3 worth trying. PLAYSTATION 3 has over 100 exclusives like Resistance 2 Metal Gear Solid 4 FFXIII SOCOM: Confrontation God of war 3 MotorStorm 2 Killzone 2 Haze and many more from companies like Rockstar Games Konami Square-Enix. The Xbox Live service is full of cheaters and laggers just try to play any game like GTA IV which i playing now Xbox Live i got it both PS3 and Xbox 360. Online capabilities doesn’t win a console war i guess you just love online gaming too much buddy. When will people publish real gaming news worth reading is all about favor this year. All I’m going to say is if it was not for the PS2 PS3 would be nothing. PS2 is the money maker for Sony. It’s what keep the PS3 alive. They have no choice but to keep it otherwise they would be having some big looses. And Gears of War is a system seller. It is bigger then Metal Gear Solid. At the end of the year we’ll see which title has the better sales. I bet GOW2 will have out sold MGS4 by the end of the year and MGS4 will have a head start because it coming out on June 12, 2008 and GOW2 will be coming out in November. And I believe it will out sell Halo 3. It will be the biggest title of the year and the next big shooter for the 360.

Of course 360 games will have better sales, there are more owners and its targeted very well at young adult males who are willing to put alot cash down for games, I have to say I was tempted, it looks like a great console, but the gamepad and RROD put me off exclusives aren’t my cup of tea either, HOWEVER! I may have to get one for Fable if they don’t port it to PC.
But hey, you can enjoy Gears, and ill enjoy MGS4, now we’re both happy!

Kevin – “don’t like” is not the same as “hate”. Europeans not buying 360 because it is American may not be as much of a factor as saying because it is from Microsoft and they lost the last console war, which could be observed by all consumers, including Japanese (though loyalty may be more of a factor there).

SW – I highly recommend the 360. I had one for two years and played it extensively before getting a RRoD, at which point I had to wait for almost two weeks before getting it back from MS.
Not long, especially considering MS paid for everything including s&h. I haven’t had a problem with it since, and have been playing GTA IV without a hitch since it released. Now I hear the RRoD is no longer a problem with the newer consoles being sold, so if you can afford it, playing Mass Effect, BioShock, Condemned, Gears of War, GRAW, Saints Row, and Project Gotham are worth it.

No – I have two because I use them as my media centers as well as my game platforms as well as my music mixer. Both are connected to my media drives, and both can connect to any and all movies / TV shows I have and display them in High def.
I know . . PS3 can do some of that . .
However, my 4,000+ music archive can be played while I’m playing any game, surfing the live store, or writing a message . . . that’s right, my Game console can ACTUALLY do two things at once . . . PS3 . . oh, you have to choose one of those to do, no multitasking. Was ps3 released in 2007 or 1987?
maybe that’s how Kaz gets to his 10 year life cycle number . . .

If you honestly think GOW2 is a system seller…….your ignorant. To even think it’s bigger then MGS4 makes you sound retarded.
MGS4 has massive appeal in every country, while GOW2 will appeal mostly only to Americans. It does have appeal in both the UK and Japan, but nothing compared to MGS4.
What your failing to realize is that the MAIN reason GOW2 is NOT a system seller, is that their core audience already own a 360. While currently a lot of PS2 owners have been waiting for the big tittles to arrive on PS3 before buying one. When MGS4 hits, a lot of people will buy the system who were waiting.

Sure they sell more agressively at $199, but that doesnt mean it will sell more then it’s higher priced competitor, it’s not a certainty as the gamecube demonstrated in the past.
And the 16 months is completely relevant when comparing the lifecycles. The PS2 owners were not waiting to jump right in, they wanted games to come out first. The same thing happened with the transition from PS1 to PS2, you need to study up on history.
Forza 3?? I think your getting a bit ahead of yourself as that is probably a year to 2 years away since nobody have even announced development beginning. And im sure Forza 3 will help sell consoles, but not to the degree of GT5. And Forza is not realistic let alone uber realistic.

No, that means you only have 5 friends. Nearly all of my friends have an xbox 360. Half of those also own a Wii and the other half own a PS3. Guess which consoles gather dust and which one gets played due to superior games and superior online. It’s not the 360 gathering dust….

In Europe, I don’t have the numbers but it is selling a lot more simple on the basis that it has caught/surpassed the sales of the 360 which had a large head start.
I think with the current list of exclusives coming out, the lower price and possible price drops coming by years end, we could see another jump in sales of the PS3. The momentum just keeps getting bigger and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon.
I think it wont be until late 2009/early 2010 that the PS3 surpasses the 360 in global sales. I think around this time both the 360 and the PS3 will surpass the Wii and it’s complete lack of any games.

Well, already played/own BioShock on the superior platform for FPS, that is PC.
Mass effect is also coming to PC, the rest of the games in the list don’t interest me at all.
Like i said, I already own a PS3, and if news comes down the line that Fable will be ported to PC then I won’t be getting a 360, otherwise I may.
As for RROD, my point wasn’t really ‘its going to fail %100′ its more the chance of it. I have at least one buddy who’s now on his FIFTH 360. Now that be a rare rare case, but I don’t want the possibility of that happening to a machine I own. Like i said, despite the fixes ms may have put in place its simply too late as the damage is done.

and I stand by my claim.. the one that I made and have been making for a looong time.. most of the 360 “exclusives” arent exclusives… they are released on more than one platforms.. meaning… I dont have to buy a 360 to play Bioshock… Halo 1 ad 2 Mass Effect.. and Gears of war… if we “assume” that Halo 3 and Geow 2 will be released in PC.. then how is it a system seller??? and how is it an EXCLUSIVE… and you dont need a $5000 gaming rig to play the games.. you can get a mediocre PC for $1500 and itll have the same quality as a 360… considering that most people have decent computers in their home… why would they need to buy a 360??

All I have to say was Halo 2 Bigger then Halo 1. Was Halo 3 Bigger then Halo 2. The Numbers speak for then selves. GTA IV is compard to Halo 3 Sales. That’s how big Halo is. System exclusive Best seller. First video game to be compared to the movie and Book Industry. That’s what GTA IV was compared to. I can also do the same senerio for the whole GTA series. Was GTA IV Bigger then all other GTA’s? Come on John This is the second series it’s only getting bigger. But for real this game is a game that if you have not played it before you will be amazed at how good it is.

Halo 3 may have sold more units than Halo 2… but it was no NEX GEN improvement…. only tiny improvements…. with games like Bioshock and Geow and Crysis… pushing the limits… well mainly Crysis… Halo 3 pails in comparison.. Halo 3 may have sold more copies than Crysis… but it is in NO WAY close to be compared to Crysis on the same level…
Just because more people bought the game doesnt make it a good game… I thought the main reason of Wii bashing was that.. “so what if it has sold more units than the 360 and PS3… people bought it as a gimmick… itll never last.. soon they’ll switch to NEX GEN”

Err – GTA4 has sold more on 360s in the UK because there are more 360s over here – although like everywhere else, the gap is closing. In terms of attach rate, GTA4’s doing better on the PS3 (there you go, a proper attach rate comparison as both were released on the same day).
Price cuts may be fine for Acne-ridden paperboys, but the 25+ demographic who are (a) looking for more versatility, (b) don’t much care for catastrophic hardware failures and (c) most importantly, have the most money to burn will usually plump for quality over price – and are doing so done, looking at worldwide sales over the last 6 months.
How are MS going to turn this around? With a slew of killer exclusives over the next 12 months of course. Oh wait – Hang on…

Xbox brand is destine to come to a fall and fade out we all know Microsoft is is getting scare worry. Every day that Sony’s PLAYSTATION 3 gets one of their must have exclusives launch Microsoft start to try and release some bad comment their failing miserably this time around. PLAYSTATION3 is catching Xbox 360 sales at at new faster rate now outselling the poor dying Xbox month by Month. Sony creates and buy games also publishers them and help developers with the cost. Microsoft just tries to acquire FPS rights they don’t bother trying to make a game no talent. Xbox 360 is alive because Microsoft is never going to face defeat they rather lose money like they do with every single product they try to create and also Xbox Live is paying obviously not for the server since they are horrible but for the huge loses they having like 6 billions. They still haven’t fix the Red Light of Death issue even Elite model have massive problems and the DVD disc drive still way too noisy. Can i just say – when you say the ‘Amercia, Japan, the UK’ you are overlooking something. First of all, we are a part of Europe (we being UK) Yes other countries may not buy as much games as we do, but when you group us all together we ARE of a similar market size to America. Comparing the UK to America in just stupid.
And on the whole ‘loyalty’ thing. 360 will always do well in America – because oh wait – its American! Europe has always been loyal to the playstation brand – no faulty piece of American hardware will change that – as the numbers show, and as for Japan, I dont see why MS bother. When the PS3 sales in Japan pick up (which they will – FFXIII – just you wait) the xbox will only have one winning territory, the USA, from which we can already see the PS3 numbers picking up. And thats at the start of the exclusives on the way….

you know you PS3 people are pretty Pathetic. All we heard about for the last year and a half has been “Cell processor cell processor” yet game after game after game that has come out on both systems has run better.
The PS3 version of GTA 4 in all it’s cell processor glory cannot even do 720P. Do you PoS3 people understand what that means? That means you are not playing the game in Hi Def. Sub 720P is NOT hi def. Hi Def is defined as starting at 720P.
What benefit does the PS3 offer? And I don’t want to hear about all your games cause you have half as many games as Xbox, and half as many highly rated games. You do have lair though, that game rules.
Just help me out? Besides for an antiquated BD drive on the PoS3, what benefit does the PS3 offer?

To me the Wii isn’t a true current generation system. It’s more like a toy, but its working for Nintendo, so props to them for that. As for the PS3 vs 360; I too agree that the 360 will win out. I have both and enjoy them very much. But, the 360 is much easier to play and use ‘imo’. Live is MUCH better than PSN, it is far far faster and much easier to use.

SW- I don’t blame you. I own a 360 and PS2, which both keep me more than busy, so I don’t need to buy a PS3 yet, but plan on it in the future. If it were the other way around, and I happened to only have the PS3 and PS2, I wouldn’t see a burning need to buy the 360, especially considering the large investment I already made and the reliability question.
Questions: Do you think the geniuses at Sony will put native backwards compatibility back in after PS2 stops selling? I hope so.
Do you think a “free” Home will actually rival XBL by the holiday season for all games, including achievements (trophies) and gamerscore (gamer stats)? I hope so.
Do you think the PS3 will drop to $299 before the holiday season? I hope so.

We have been fighting Sony’s promises from the day we entered the market and if you remember at that time it was all about PS2 being an online cybercity with partner announcements from the likes of RealNetworks and AOL. Then three years ago at E3 they showed what PS3 games would supposedly look like with the Killzone 2 video, that we are now learning will ship four years later. That means that we will have shipped Gears of War and Gears of War 2 before they can even get Killzone out the door. Think back to GDC 2007 when Sony promised to leap ahead in online with the Sony Home unveil. Here we are two years later and multiple delays for a product that has appears to have little to no buzz. Where are the achievements? The friends list integration across all games? Where is the long-promised video store? Where are all the other products using and networking with their CELL chip? How come Blu-ray did not result in better games? What happened with Sixaxis and rumble? Where is the complete 1080p game library we were promised? If Blu-ray as they said would be such a catalyst to PS3 console sales, then why have PS3 sales over the past couple months not seen any lift since the format victory?

1.GTA4 on the PS3 uses alot more post processing effects, so it accualy looks better then the 360 counterpart, even though it runs at a slightly lower resolution.
2.There are more people who live in europe then live in the US. So Europe is a larget market then the US.
3.What established francises are coming out this year and next for the 360, and not PS3? GoW 2, NG 2 and umm … fable 2. PS3 has MGS4, GT5, FF13, FF 13 V, GoW 3, ect.
So the established PS franchises should sell 2-8x more systems then the 360 ones.
4. The non franchises comign out the both system are stronger on the PS3. Alian Wake, Too human, Halo Wars vs LBP,White Knight Story, Infamous.

I personally think the PS3 will be coming out ahead overall. The 2008 lineup looks really great (with MGS4, FFXIII, Versus XIII, Resistance 2, maybe GOW3, and others), and there’s probably more to come. This June we’ll probably see sales get a pretty big boost, thanks to the MGS4 bundles coming out on the 12th.
The 360 did have a really great start due to its early release, which also gave it time for earlier price drops. I’ve played most of the great games for the 360, and I think the PS3 exclusives and 360 exclusives match up about evenly in having fun. :p
The Wii has had an amazing beginning with its super-low price and it has had some great games. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look good from here on, with its big hits done and over with.
BTW, I only own a Wii at the moment, and I’ll be getting a PS3 June 12th with MGS4. I’m not a fanboy; the only reason I’m not getting a 360 is because I play one regularly at my friend’s house. I hope you’ll have enough decency to not flame me.

True, Halo 2 was bigger then 1 and 3 was bigger then 2 etc. But, sequals are not always bigger then their predecesors. I do believe that GOW2 will be bigger then GOW1, but not nearly as big as you are thinking.
Halo 2 sold twice the number of GOW1, and Halo 3 destroyed that number even more. GTA4 just sold the same number of copies in one week as Halo 2 did in it’s whole life. Heck, it sold almost as much in one day as GOW sold it’s whole life.
So for you to think that GOW2 will even come remotely close to GTA4 is laughable.
I have also played/beaten GOW. I did enjoy it, and the combat system was great, but the story was crap……..because it had virtually no depth. This was a major complaint of a lot of people.

doesnt matter whether MS hyped Xtreme 2 or not.. the main point is that the creators of the one of the greatest games of all time made a “boob bouncing” simulator that made the reviewers “seasick”…
and MS got the exclusive DLC by buying them… paying an amount that is close to the GNP of a thrid word country… it looks desperate… and also… its an agreesive tactic used by the… well the Japanese when they were selling TVs in USA… back in the 80s and 90s.. which led to the fall in demand of US made TVs…
but the point is…if you buy a decent PC… you can play most of the 360 big hitters… so why would you buy a 360??? Also with their excellent copy protection… they are losing money to piracy…
did you ever think… that the reason for the framerate issues… and mediocre graphics is due to the developers??? how the hell do you expect a console to run a game perfectly if the game has glitches??? that goes for 360 and PS3 games too… you cant judge a console because of a coupla game glitches that the devs failed to solve…

Jonathan, I think a lot of them bought a PS3 because they believed what Sony said about it 2 years ago… unfortunately they still haven’t delivered on a lot of those promises, maybe by the end of the year… maybe not. I could see them waiting… then seeing all the RRoD’s happen while they were waiting, then buying a PS3 at launch for a ton of money, now still waiting for half of Sony’s promises to come true, but they have a decent console that does play several good games, and now that more are on the way they are encouraged. I’ll buy one once it goes down in price and gets it’s redesign with native backwards compatibility.
I certainly can’t blame a PS3 owner for not getting a 360, considering all the money they have already invested in one console, it doesn’t make sense… unless they’ve actually experienced Live/Gamerscore/Achievements system and like it, there really is no big reason for them to get one, especially considering Home, if it doesn’t get delayed yet again into next year.

DWH, only about 24 out of the 90 games yet to be released as exclusive for 360 this year are also going to be released on the PC. Another 24 are XBLA. That leaves 42 full exclusives, still 12 more than what the PS3 has slated. For every good PS3 game there is as good a 360 game, or even better, at least this year. Unfortunately, because of its head start, the same cannot be said vice versa, but the PS3 does seem to be catching up, maybe even by 2010. The 360 has twice as many RPG’s and RTS’s slated for release as well.
God of War would be the only one I would actually buy a PS3 for, and that hasn’t even been announced for release yet… maybe next year. Home would be another reason, but Sony’s BS’d about that and KZ2 since launch. The last MGS I liked was MGS (and I’ve played all of them), but I can understand how a PS3 owner could get excited. R2 will probably be good, but not good enough to justify a purchase.
I also owned an Alienware, brand new, and when I was messing with crap like Steam and patches and bugs, I switched to 360, and haven’t gone back again.
Sure, I got a RRoD after two years of gaming, then got it back like new after two weeks for free and haven’t had a problem with it since. GTA IV has played like a dream on it since it launched.
Why would you want a 360 when you could play the a few of the same games on your PC? Well, besides what I mentioned before, you can also rent 360 games and play them before you decide to buy. You can’t do that with PC.

I know I don’t speak for everyone, but I was planning on eventually buying a 360 so I could play Mass Effect. But then I learned that it was coming out for the PC, so I changed my mind about purchasing the console.
So….
In this case, Mass Effect’s quasi-exclusivity DID affect the console wars, since it was -1 sale for the 360. I know mine is an isolated situation, but I would imagine that this has happened many times with games like BioShock, etc.
What I believe DWH’s point is, is that when a game is exclusive to a Sony console, you either buy the Sony console to play it, or you don’t play it at all. Hence, giving a slight advantage to Sony on this particular issue.

I think it is safe to say that most people have more than enough games on the consoles they do own to not justify another purchase yet, PS3 or 360. After the price reductions and redesigns happen they will.
Why do I have a PC and laptop yet choose to game on the 360? I guess it is just personal preference, and I don’t think I’m the only one.
While I could take the extra time to make a PC set up with controllers so I could relax on the couch, I have chosen not to mess with all the baggage that comes with PC gaming. That is, spending hundreds of dollars every year to have the rig that will keep up with the latest games to my standards. If I were an FPS competitive gamer, sure, but I’m not about that.
The simplicity and standardization that lies within the console lets me get to gaming first, and doesn’t have me messing with patches or installs or compatibility issues. Aside from occasional automatic installs, this stuff is mostly in the background with consoles.
I can see that you are into PC gaming, and it’s great for you, but I stopped after about 10 years because I added up all the excess money it had cost me over console gaming. Hell, I could have bought another car for that kind of money.
One HDTV and console purchase with a game rental plan for the span of 5-8 years does not equate to the same price as a quality pc gaming rig updated acceptably over that same time period. Granted, if one is willing to steal or buy pirated games as you do, they can lower the cost of the games, but a lot of people like myself don’t see the justice in that. Even if you did this the cost would far exceed a 1-2 console gaming lifestyle. For what? Some higher resolution? No thanks.

the thing is.. my country (third world) doesnt have any EB or Gamestop… so I have to get a shop to import my games for me… they import from various countries… my GTA 4 in from Middle east… FIFA 08 is from China… so if I bought 360 originals… they would only run if they were from the same region as the 360 itself ( and the shop cant guarantee the same country all the time) so thats why I have to buy pirated 360 games which dont have any region locks… though I would like to buy the Collectors Edition of Bioshock with that Big Daddy figurene…
and though my money goes to the black market… at least my taxes arent going to waste in crippling a country for the wrong reasons while raising oil prices (I just HAD to say it… it was too easy to miss)

I own both console, and I’ve noticed that the 360 rumbles both motors at the same time, which can fatigue your hands quicker. But with the Dual Shock 3, it rumbles in different locations. I believe it has pulse motors in it….

DWH – I never said the 360 was glitch free, just that it already has Home’s basics downpat with Live, and if you are waiting for a “complete and glitch free” Home, you may be a little disappointed when and or if it ever comes out, as there will always be someway a service like that can be better, more complete, or have less glitches in it.
I never tried to make you feel guilty, I just stated facts, if you feel guilty then maybe you have some unresolved issues.

I’ve never had ‘Hand Fatigue’ whenever I play my 360. I only have hand fatigue when I whip out my copy of ‘Asian Fever’ and start tweaking like a madman.

The PS3’s rumble is smooth and pulse relaxing. But yet, there are hardly any games that utilize that great sensation on the PS3….

I played Halo 3 for about 6 hours straight when I first got it, and my hands were fine. My eyes were a little sore because I was staring at the TV for that long, but that’s to be expected.
If the rumble is smooth and pulse relaxing as you say, then I would probably end up putting it down my pants and deliberately get my butt kicked. mmmm yes……

The PS3 version has REMARKABLE graphics!!! And YES, it does play in TRUE HD! I have the fucker for myself just to prove it. Althought I will have to say that the 360 version looks brighter and colorful and the PS3 version is a little blurry.
But the PS3 version looks more realistic! So lets stop all of this bull fuck about which version is better. In all honest truth the PS3 version has the edge, hands down.

I just played the Haze demo and it was some good fun. Iwould be looking forward to the release. The 4 player coop will be a blast (like the dudes that OD on nectare or however you spell it… They look funky)
See Xboys – I waited to play the demo before making a judgement – didn’t go off what I heard or read somewhere.
I also played GTA4 for the first time today too on full HD. Can’t compare to 360 though (haven’t seen it on 360) But the PS3 version does look pretty realistic and was some good fun so far.

Oh yeah!……@darkwhitehair…..i don’t have an hdtv either. And another thing, mine version of GTA4 didn’t freeze up. So whoever made the statements that the PS3 version freezes up is telling lies!

Oh! I also played the Haze demo as well. At first I felt that the game was gonna suck pretty hard, but actually it’s a pretty nice game! The charge up thing on the left side of the screen is sweet!
If the graphics were top notch, I would give that game a 9.5. But we’ll have to wait and see…….

GTA4 was for ps3 and 360 and ps3 will get DLC or sometihng different.
the next vice city and San andreas will be like ps2 times (FACT) rockstars said so.
