Battlefield: Bad Company trailers copy Gears of War, Rainbow Six, SOCOM
Electronic Arts just released a couple of brand-spankin’ new trailers for its highly anticipated first-person shooter, Battlefield: Bad Company. Why does this matter? Oh, maybe ’cause the ads blatantly copy from competing games. They’re also pretty funny.
Yes, Games such as Rainbox Six, SOCOM, and especially Gears of War have been defiled parodied by the creative minds at EA. While the ads obviously take from competing games and genre epitomes, it’s clear EA is simply making fun of the genre and its competitors.
Up first, in a friendly stab at Gears of War and Epic Games, the new Battlefield: Bad Company trailer starts out as almost an exact copy of the classic, epic Gears of War trailer featuring "Mad World". The original trailer is embedded below.
And here’s EA’s parody titled "Bad World" for Battlefield: Bad Company.
The second trailer, which was also released yesterday, makes fun of Rainbow Six’s stealthy game-play. While we couldn’t find a Rainbow Six trailer that resembles the new ad, we found a SOCOM trailer that makes use of some stealth-like action. Check it out below.

It’s laugh-out-loud funny, dammit! Well, sort of.

This whole game is a rip off of the old Clint Eastwood movie, Kellys Heros.

Shooters and release title races Just like I said. Find me a NON release title that a Good parent would give to there kid on PS3 or 360. With out Crash or spyro (the little whores that they are).
And not that piñata game(I think that was a release title wasn’t it? I don’t know man… Dude are you typing this? No… I mean DOH).

I downloaded the demo over the weekend. I really had fun with the multiplayer, especially running over my teammates with the tank. There wasn’t a horn on that thing to tell them to get out of the way… served them right.
