Dead Rising and Monster Hunter coming to the PS3?
John Diamonon, Capcom marketing rep, has been diligently answering almost all of the questions posted on the Playstation Blog about Bionic Commando Rearmed. He also took the time to answer a few questions about some other games such as Dead Rising and Monster Hunter.
Bionic Commando Rearmed (BCR) will be hitting the US Playstation Store and Xbox Live this coming week during their usual respective update schedule for the low price of $9.99. BCR will have multiplayer co-op mode (local only no online) with Achievements for Xbox 360 and soon to come trophy patch for the PS3 version (possibly retroactive).
One interesting feature I am excited to test out is the Remote Play feature for the PS3 version of BCR. I’m looking forward to Remote Play BCR from my PSP when I am away from my PS3 to improve my score.
A hint was given regarding two potential games that may hit the PS3 in due time from Diamonon. When he was asked if Dead Rising would ever hit the PS3 with the recent announcement of Dead Rising for the Wii. His response was a sly:
You haven’t seen the last of Dead Rising.
hmm… that sounds like a tease that Dead Rising maybe coming to the PS3, of course it’s not an official confirmation of any sort but it’s promising.
Also when fans on the Playstation Blog complained about the former PS3 exclusive game Monster Hunter moving to the Wii this is what Diamonon had to say:
Don’t worry. We’re working on something for you US Monster Hunter fans.
Monster Hunter is assumed to be canned for the PS3 when Capcom announced they will instead focus this title on the Wii, but this could potentially mean the original PS3 version has not been canceled for good? Excellent news for Monster Hunter fans.
Diamonon also hints at a surprise for PS3 owners regarding Street Fighter Remix which will be announced next week.
A Playstation Blog member asks:
is this surprise only for the ps3 or is its for both system!!!!!
Diamonon says:
Just for PS3.
The speculation has been a PS one classic download of Street Fighter Alpha, or a secret hidden character in Street Fighter IV.

Well Monster Hunter will be a great addiction to huge list of PERFECT PS3 games. As for Dead Rising that game sucks.

The list of perfect games changes as each game released is imperfect, and each new game starting development is perfect (until it is released, at which point it is imperfect).

Why do Sony fanboyz insist on always giving a list like it’s supose to do some justice or something. To me it’s more like reassuring yourself to think that your system doesn’t suck. Go ahead and list your few games because you know that your mediocre list will look stupid along side a 360 List of games. Maybe even against a Wii list too.

honestly guys, you know if you had the extra loot you guys would have a Xbox 360 or PS3, stop being such a fanboy.
You have no business playing games or calling yourself a gamer if you don’t want to actually play Gears of War, Mass Effect on Xbox 360, or Resistance, Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3.

Ok to be truthful.i love my ps3 and im sure others will agree 2.But all us ps3 fanboyz have all had the urge to wana play halo 3 after reading about it and all the hype.and all EXbox360 fanboys all had envy when they first heard about home and watched the videos.we’re all human we all WANT.but we can all agree (ps3,360)that the wii is gay.and can we please stop asking for retarted GAYmertags.
