Little Big Planet free stuff guide: Decide where to pre-order

Howdy folks, I know you are craving desperately to get a hold of Little Big Planet, but you also want to pick up some free stuff along with your pre-order. Well, never fear we are here to help you out. A total of five items will be given out depending on exactly where you pre-order your copy of Little Big Planet.
As many of you may know Little Big Planet is the game that stole many of the awards from E3. It’s surprising such a simple little game has been getting so much attention. What is the appeal to such a game one might ask? It’s really the fact you can fully create nice looking hi-def levels and share them with the world is the appeal for me.
For other’s it may just be the cutesy looking Sackboy, or the fact you and several of your friends can play together in the game. There really is nothing quite like it.
Media Molecule the developers of Little Big Planet posted all of the neat stuff you can get from pre-ordering the game on the official Playstation blog.

oh oh oh! A stickerbook neato, clearly this one is geared towards the fairer sex or the young. Ok, I know some of you guys want it also, just go for it.

A little burlap pouch you can actually put your PS3 game case into. This is probably my No. 1 pick for what I want the most. Why you may ask? I am a collector of sorts of video games and movies so I know this will make my Little Big Planet copy stand out on my shelf.
Exclusive Kratos SackBoy -
Okay, this is probably my 2nd favorite item. Although it’s a virtual item and a skin for your sackboy it’s exclusive only as a pre-order item. Media Molecule even went as far as to say they have no plans of ever distributing this skin in the future, wow.
Exclusive Nariko SackGirl -
Nariko is the beautiful yet dangerous female in Heavenly Sword. It looks like she is coming to Little Big Planet as well. I know some of you will be drooling over this skin, calm down guys.

This game is going to be big, I just hope Sony drop the price of the console before, other wise it might not be as big as one might expect.
But as for creation? jeeezz a looooo….so much, so little time….I mean you could take the time to create a level based around your favortie band or superhero, copy the levels, costumes and so forth, or just wait for someone else to do it……there is so much right with this yet I sense so much canb go worng as well…

@ robb…you are right…..sony doesnt pay much attention to the UK and other European countries….at least you are getting Play TV….my friend said the servers for SCEE arent good…like things get released in US faster than they do in UK…….anyway, i hate gamestop…..there is always this same guy who says “why didnt you pre order the game?”……..well maybe i have a life and im too busy…..what a dumbass…..stop telling me shit and let me buy the damn game so i can go home……or ill just go to blockbuster…..i got a brand new assassins creed for $30 at BB, what a deal

i CAN afford all three, very easily. I choose not to own a ps3 due to lack of games i want, subpar online, mentality and public image of ps3 owners (IVAN) and i don’t want a bluray player or wifi but will be charged for both.

Anyone calling this game childish clearly hasn’t paid much attention to the game other than it’s cute visuals, this game looks set to have more depth than any before it.
Kev so what if the visuals do look at a bit childish, nearly all games I have are 18 or 15 rated. I’m excited about games coming out like Fallout 3, Dead Space, Bioshock and Resistance 2 but guess what game I’m looking forward to more than any of these….. Little Big Planet

lol honestly I think Nintendo should’ve kept the name “Nintendo Revolution” instead. Now don’t get me wrong, back in the day Super Mario 64, Mortal Kombat 4, Goldeneye, and Zelda Majora’s Mask were all great games for Nintendo and I loved them to death, but the Wii is just an upfront disgrace to video gaming!
Why target an audience who gives a two shits less about video gaming!??? Well thats what Nintendo did…..Now I understand that Nintendo may have aimed for little children and I understand that, but the thing that disturbs me the most is that there are actually teenagers and adults who play the Wii, and they take it seriously!!!!!!
I mean COME ON!!!!! Haven’t grown past playing with Megazords and Barbies????? How immature!!! And whoever said that the Wii is innovative is a complete JACKASS!
Motion sensing is nothing new. If I wanted to play with motion sensing so much I would pick up my tv remote and turn the tv off and on. Big deal!
And to be that low of a caliber system, I honestly think the Wii is overpriced. Paying $249 for that stupid piece of shit!?!??? I’ll pass
Now in all honestly the 360 is the grench with hidden costs (Xbox Live, 120gb harddrive, Wifi, HD DVD add on, charge kit, extra controller, eye camera, etc.)

You are so damn right gamers are all teenagers and adult they are the one with the money not kids. Wii is dated. PS2 games look better than Wii games especially Gran Turismo God of War Jak & Daxter Ratchet & Clank and many more. And Xbox 360 with $179.99 HDD $99.99 rip off WiFi $49.99 Xbox Live $19.99 Charge Kit Was like $199.99 now i think is $49.99 HD DVD which is dead. All of that and more is better and %100 free for all PS3 owners. Xbox 360 is dated and Wii in technology.

future of sega - someday when you’re old enough, grab some beers, some great friends and some split screen cart racing. it’s insanely fun with the right friends. combat + racing = hella fun… sorry you think it’s ment for toddlers, as toddlers usually don’t drive or shoot very well.

Mario Kart Wii is, in this gamer’s opinion, not only the best Wii game available right now, but also the best Mario Kart ever. A return to more old-school-style game mechanics combined with the addition of bikes PLUS a huge cast of characters AND the added bonus of being able to use ANY Mii on your system as a racer AS WELL AS 16 classic tracks from older Mario Kart titles make this game easily twice as good as anything else you’ll find on the Wii. But the best part yet: you can play the whole game with a GameCube controller. Perfect 10/10 in my book. The only downside is, after all is said and done…. you’re stuck with a damn Wii.

I highly doubt they’ll charge for LBP. It’ll be a HUGE turnoff to people and they want this to sell bucket loads dont they?
As for Mario Kart Wii arvis and kev, I despised it more than I do Kid Rock (thats a lot by the way). It was complete pants in my opinion. Too geared towards the casual market and just didnt feel like mario kart, the only thing that made it mario kart were the characters.

Kev- I won’t disagree that XBL is better. But please drop the voice com in included with Xbox crap. Many people already have blue tooth sets for their phones. If they don’t they can buy one and get dual use out of it. XBL is better, but it has nothing to do with a voice com being included! Nobody CHOOSES to pay for XBL. They CHOOSE to play online multiplayer, and are FORCED to pay in order to achieve that.

arvis - gamers are given a choice to sign up for the gold pack. they CHOOSE to sign up and play online or keep the free silver and take the free, sponsored, weekend playing that comes from time to time.
heck xbox live even had more players than psn last gen and the ps2 had waaaaaaaaay more consoles on the market than the xbox.

There are a lot of people that just aren’t interested in Little Big Planet, so you’ll have to accept that.
Although Kev’s gone off on his own little tangent, if you like it, then go ahead and play it.
But the whole world doesn’t revolve around a platformer which is customizable.
I myself won’t see it as a “system seller” because here in Australia, the price of a PS3 is still too high to justify for one game purchase - especially for a platformer.
Looks cute though.
