Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty hitting the PSN next week!
If you love Ratchet & Clank like me and just can’t get enough of one of the best next gen platformers out there then never fear as the episodic short downloadable game is hitting the PSN store very soon! The game is said to continue the journey of the duo and shed light on the cliff hanger from the previous game.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction was an excellent platformer with graphics said to rival Pixar offerings. I was a bit bummed with how the game ended leaving you off with a cliff hanger. I don’t want to go into too much detail for those who haven’t played the game yet.
The game Quest for Booty will be hitting the PSN store next Thursday for about $15. The episodic game is suppose to focus more on crazy Portals like puzzles where the only way to solve them are to use the wacky wide variety of weapons usually available in the game.
However one note of warning, this game is short. This game is roughly around three to four hours long but of course if you go back to find all the hidden areas and usual bonuses you could easily stretch this game to 10 hours.
The game sheds some light on what many of you have been wondering but is also made into a mini quest so those who have not played Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will be able to follow along the main story line. It may even make you go out and buy Tools of Destruction.
According to reports there is a little teaser for those interested in knowing when Ratchet & Clank will come out again on the PS3. A message indicates that the next full installment to the series will be hitting the PS3 sometime during Fall 2009, nice.

Yes can’t wait!!, just bought Tools of Destruction a week ago and loved the game.
The characters are brilliant from Ratchet to Mr Zurkon(a robot bodyguard weapon that shouts abuse at Ratchet and his enemies whilst attacking a robot ten times his size).
Captain Qwark is the best videogame character ever!!!

Mr Zurkon has the best one liners ever
On topic: I’m definitely getting QFB and I can’t wait for another full retail Ratchet game.
MikeF: high five for being a Ratchet fan.

amen

Who cares? So you’re saying that game ratings etc don’t matter to you now? Funny how you say this, although when mgs4 was released you were all so proud of the score it got.hypocrites.

Harry u r a hypocrite, going on about fanboy baiting articles by blorge. Along comes an article about Ratchet and Clank with no mention of ps3 vs 360 and u decide to stir things up “IGN only gave it a 7.5″(did u actually read the review? or just the score? because the review made me want the game more) . 7.5 sounds fine for a $15 game.
Guess what? some of us are excited by this game and know how much love and time Insomniac put into the franchise. So this article is for us fans of Ratchet and Clank, not you or 360 and ps3 fanboys. Some of us would like to talk bout the game. So piss off.

Poor mr sparkle. Not once did I mention 360. If anything, you are the one who brought it up. I am saying that it’s only an average game according to ign. So how about you get your facts straight before you go on the attack, yes?

Oh please Harry, we’ve all seen enougth of ur comments to know what a fanboy u are, i’m intrested to know what u thought would happen when u mentioned the score?. It’s clear to everyone u were “fanboy baiting”(clearly u were based on ur 2nd comment), something u criticize blorge for doing.
P.S. What “facts” all I did was point out that u r infact the hypocrite

Poor mr sparkle. How did my second point prove I am a fanboy? If anything, you are the one acting like a rabid fanboy. And my point in mentioning the score was so I can save people time from looking it up. I am doing you a service. Fanboy baiting it hardly was, seeing that I was using substianted fact, rather than opinion and heresay, something that blorge uses constantly and is justifiably criticised for.
So how about you go back under that rock you came from and poke your head out when you have something informative to say?

Good boy.

harry, first off, 7.5 is ‘decent’ not ‘average’ according to IGN, and since when is 7.5 a bad game?
Its a £7.50 game and a smaller lighter episode of THE best platformer around. Fact.
So to me, everything sounds good. I’m definately getting it next week, and I know I will not be dissapointed.

Harry did u even read ur second comment?, u have been waiting for someone to respond to ur 1st comment (Sk8man and Bourne, who merely replied they didn’t care) then u jump all over them(ur 2nd comment).
P.S. Just because something is a fact, does not mean it’s not fanboy baiting. Don’t act all ” my point in mentioning the score was so I can save people time from looking it up” u must be the worst disguised fanboy ever.
Oh and in response(and already pointed out by Robb) to ur 3rd comment. IGN state the game as “decent” and not “average”, nice use of facts.

AHHHHHHH WHAT HAPPENED 3 IN A ROW
August 18th, 2008
wow harry, putting words in my mouth now are you.
Fine I’ll explain my 3 word comment for you: by “who cares harry” what i mean is “who cares what a fanboy troll like you has to say about a game you won’t play in a series you’ve probably never played”
Clear enough for you?
August 18th, 2008
7.5 is still not good enough for me to go out and buy, regardless of what platform. But hey, if you boys are happy with your average game, then don’t let me stop you from wasting your money.
August 18th, 2008
Anyway, Braid is much better. It is also a platformer and it received 9.5 on Gamespot. Well, have fun with your second rate game.

Hey Harry
Too Human has a metacritic score of 67(6 reviews at time of writing), just for ur “information”
But I guess u will say u where never planning on getting it
August 19th, 2008
lol Mr. Sparkle.
That is pwnage right there
August 19th, 2008
I’m sorry Harry, but imagine I just said in a random article about Too Human
“Metacritic only gives it a 67″
What would u think?, bearing in mind people know I’m more supportive of the ps3 and as for ur comment we all know ur more supportive of the 360, that is “fanboy baiting”
