Lately the headlines seem to be filled with news of gamers being angry with video game companies. The two companies that have been in the news lately the most are Activision and Valve. It has been a while since a game company has garnered this much criticism and hate in the past several years.

Fat Princess has had a bumpy road since its launch. The developers have released a patch to address all of the connection issues and for the most part it has fixed many of the problems. However, it seems like it may not have fixed all of the issues.

As a big fan of the Call Of Duty games, I’m saddened to have to report I may be giving Modern Warfare a miss. The reasons aren’t anything to do with the gameplay or graphics, or even boredom with the genre. Instead, they are about the ridiculous way in which Activision has decided to rinse us all for a huge payday.

Left 4 Dead has become a popular online game amongst gamers. However, Valve the studio behind the game received some flak recently for announcing the sequel less than a year from the launch of the first game. It seems Valve isn’t helping things much by further splintering the fanbase with DLC for the game.

Is a PS3 Slim happening? Although Sony has yet to confirm the existence of a new iteration of the PS3 hardware, the evidence is stacking up. While all the little stories suggesting it’s happening aren’t much on their own, add them all up and you have a body of evidence any lawyer would be happy to use in court.

Sony has been having a difficult time this past year with the global economic crisis in full swing. Many CE companies are hit hard and Sony’s PS3 has been affected due to its high price tag. However, according to reports it seems like Sony has managed to close the widening gap between the Xbox 360 and the PS3.

Its been three days since Fat Princess dropped onto the PSN store last Thursday. The game has been getting a ton of positive feed back from gamers around the globe. However, noticeably the game has been experiencing some connection issues since day one.

The Xbox 360 currently has one of the largest libraries of this generation due to the fact Microsoft was able to get the console out one year before Nintendo and Sony. Even though there is a plethora of multiplatform games out there, the exclusives are what differentiate one console from another.
