Even the police now stealing PS3 games
You know how it is when there’s a new game being released that you desperately want but can’t afford. Video games are expensive after all. While most of us don’t resort to stealing the games of our desire, maybe we would if we thought we could get away with it. Which would definitely be the case if we were police officers meant to catch people shoplifting rather than shoplifting ourselves.
According to the Daily Mail, PC Peter Cokell, 34, was today found guilty of theft after being caught stealing two PS3 games from an HMV store in June. Cokell’s job was to prevent shoplifting from occurring at the store, but he decided if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em and stole Killzone 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from the shop.
A security guard caught the police officer as he left the store with the PS3 games under his stab vest. Which is not something your typical shoplifter has at their disposal. Cokell’s defense against the charges was, “I had no reason to steal and no reason to steal PS3 games, as I don’t have a PS3.” Unfortunately for Cokell, CCTV proved otherwise.

Only a police can be that stupid. They might had let it slide if it was a Xbox 360 games since most people get them free but PS3 game wow what an idiot stealing from the beast backfire big time.

That was a cerain website that would take donations to buy the console and then smash it.
They do that for every popular console. It happened to the 360 as well. They usually do it in front of the people online waiting to buy it.
