Xbox Live hits new record – 2 million people online at once
Xbox Live recently achieved a new milestone as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launched recently. Apparently, roughly two million gamers were on XBL playing online at once, which is a new record for the service. This is truly a testament to the power of Modern Warfare 2.
According to Major Nelson’s twitter, the XBL service set a new record recently. Apparently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a beast of a game as it has managed to get 2 million gamers across the globe playing simultaneously on Xbox Live. That is roughly 20 percent of the total XBL population.
There is no information as to how many players were online on the PS3’s PSN service. However, we do know that apparently the demand for COD:MW2 was much higher than Infinity Ward had anticipated. Infinity Ward confirmed that the studio had to add more servers to satisfy the demand for the PS3.

One would imagine that it is respectively the same ratio as those that actually bought it for PS3 vice 360, but then you would also figure that you can only count those who could actually get online to play for “free”.
Nearly five million in a day isn’t bad for a multiplat, considering GTAIV managed “only” 3.6:

Hell yes the easier you can hack a PSP in in 45 seconds. With a Pandora Battery and Majic Stick.
Sony gave up on piracy on PSP, they know they can’t stop it PSP Go was their last shot all they can do now is firmware update with more secure codes. Which we all know is never going to happen. The second easier is the Xbox 360 which can be done like 15 minutes.
Again PS3 is unhackanle as of now. The power of the Cell Broadband Engine, Blu-ray Disc plus the security Sony put makes it hacker proved. Which is good for game developers and publishers plus Sony itself. Because they know they are getting pay every penny. Plus a blank Blu-ray Disc is $20. And a Blu-ray Disc burner goes for $300. I got Blu-ray Disc burner on my VAIO. Also i got 5 blank disc for the future. I will always pay for PS3 games LoL hmm well maybe hmm yeah i guess why not they are worth paying the PS3 ones..

Roca, I beat NG+ and a few boards on ++. I think we can have everything done by the weeks end. Just use your souls for spells and miracles. I’ll take care of the blue blood sword and catalyst.

I’m currently replaying all my games again from the very beginning rebuilding my savedata. I’ having issues because I’m using my old 60GB PS3 with firmware 1.10.

Well i didn’t really lose them but i did sell the PS3 without doing a proper back up. I don’t mind doing everything again is gonna be fun since i know everything. I’ll be mad if i were to lose all my PS2 and PS1 savedata over 300 games i can’t replay memories like that.
I’m backing up all my data from my PlayStation and PC on my VAIO and online i got 1 TB use on my PC.
The day i get a PLATINUM is the day i call myself a trophy master. There’s just not enough skills in me to get that shit and yes i have try hard but there’s always at least 2 fucking trophy stopping me from achieving my PS3 game trophy dream.

COD MW2 is built on the exact same engine as the last few installments – which were all identical on both consoles.
Which ever console you buy it for, just make sure you buy it used. Don’t support annual installments with no improvements over the last version.
