The Walmart $100 vouchers are a nice big incentive.
    Great deal.

  5. phranctoast:

Was thinking about buying stuff online today to kick off the Holiday shopping, but I might as well wait until Monday and get all the “Cyber Monday” deals.

Any FM3 bundle deals out there, or is it too high demand to put it on sale?

  8. CON:

  9. harry sachz:

I wish we had something like Black Friday in Aus. Oh well, not the first time we are missing out on something.

  10. Spideydog:

    I hear ya Harry …..

  11. Happyhockum:

Same deal here in the UK too harry.

The only good thing for us is that competition has opened up a good bit.

If you’re able & not afraid to buy over-seas it helps a lot
(the EU is brilliant for this, no additional taxes or duties but with the USA you have to be careful, they recently raised the import duty allowance but VAT is still there).

  12. twilight:

Yes,the sales have been pretty good, especially on Xbox360 games. It’s too bad I can’t take advantage of it.They have been selling decent titles for $10 on Xbox360.

  13. Happyhockum:

I didn’t manage as good a deal as mentioned happening in the US this week but I did get a couple of decent games (and stuck to my policy of not paying silly prices, even for new games).

I just get Left for Dead 2 for £15 ($25 US/$27 AUS) from Tesco Entertainment.

I haven’t played the 1st one either so I got that for £17.99 ($30 US/$33 Aus) from Amazon as one of the classic Xbox 360 range.

  14. harry sachz:

Happy, I should get my UK version of L4D2 soon (if customs hasn’t intercepted it :) ), so i’ll ping you when we’re online together for a game.

  15. phranctoast:

    welcome back harry

  16. Happyhockum:

I’ll look forward to that harry.

Just don’t ta\ke it personally if it takes me a little while to get back on XBL.

I’m waiting on the latest data transfer kit coming (it didn’t take long last time when I went from 60gb to 120gb) cos I’ve lost my original one somewhere.

(and joy of joys, the redecoration is still on-going too)

    :o
