Splinter Cell: Conviction to get Co-Op mode
Splinter Cell: Conviction is one of the highlight games of Q1 next year. The game sparked a great deal of interest after its in-depth showing at E3. Despite a media blackout since the showing, some good news about the game was recently revealed that will have many gamers giddy with joy.
According to 1Up, the latest issue of PC Zone confirms that Splinter Cell: Conviction will indeed have online co-op support. You and another player will be able to sneak through missions together. The issue will have hands-on impression of the mode as well.
Co-op is definitely the theme that has been running all year long and its good to see that continuing next year as well. Stay tuned for more information as the clock counts down to Feb. 23 for the release of the game on the PC and Xbox 360.

Never ever liked the splinter cell series but this new one looks very good I’m looking forward to it

Sometimes co op can ruin a game. While I enjoyed having 2 player co op with RE5, being forced to have a second character using all my ammo and health in the SP portion pissed me off.

This game better be worth the wait
November 29th, 2009
the game looks good, but I cant imagine a stealth game using co-op.
November 29th, 2009
This game is going to kick arse!
November 29th, 2009
the stealth in the mw2 co ops were okay but had the potential for so much more it just depends on how seriously the players take it

This game is looking great. It should deliver the goods.

Co-op should work well if it’s what I’m expecting. I get the feelinig it’ll work like the first sequence from Double Agent.
Looking forward tp getting this.

Splinter Cell has already proven the coop mode in its games are very fun. This isn’t the first SC game with this capability. The spies vs. mercs was always a blast on ‘live, also.
Having been a fan since the first SC hit the market, I can’t wait to get my hands on this and pick up where the story left off. It should be another homerun in the 360 catalog. Upside down neck snaps FTW!!! I just wished it didn’t take so long.
The graphics are frigging amazing from what I’ve seen. Easily on par with or better than anything I’ve seen on any console so far.
Harry – True, sir!! Much arse, indeed.

“The graphics are frigging amazing from what I’ve seen. Easily on par with or better than anything I’ve seen on any console so far.”
Of course it is. Low resolution Internet video is always the best to make that determination.
you=fail.

phranc – sorry. i forgot. we’re only allowed to hype ps3 exclusives from screenshots.
silly me. lmao…

U2 wont Best of Games and Best Graphics and E3 2009.
SC…..not even close
November 30th, 2009
ROCA – “Splinter Cell: Conviction is one of the highlight games of Q1 next year.”
nice one.
how long as U2 been out?
fanboys…LMAO!!
November 30th, 2009
Roca makes a good point kev. Both games were at E3. Did SC get any awards for graphical achievements?
November 30th, 2009
E3 was in July 2009….at the time Ucharted 2 wasnt even out and SC was schedule to release in Sept/Oct just like U2.
ubisoft showed what SC was all about at E3 but U2 managed to be the Best game at E3 and the game with best graphics
November 30th, 2009
Phranc, you know Kev is always short of FACTS
November 30th, 2009
Roca and Phrantoast,
Why even bother with his statement? Afterall, this is the same guy that thinks Forza looks better than Uncharted 2.
November 30th, 2009
“Why even bother with his statement?”
It humors me to do so.
November 30th, 2009
Ha!Ha!
November 30th, 2009
you ps3 fanboys must be right.
no game, from now on, will ever match uncharted 2.
the industry’s over.
fanboys…LMAO!!!
November 30th, 2009
twi – “Afterall, this is the same guy that thinks Forza looks better than Uncharted 2″
thanks for reminding me of how much of a liar you ps3 fanboys are……
i never said that.
post a link or admit you lied….lmao..
November 30th, 2009
Now at least kev is making sense.
November 30th, 2009
But he still hasn’t kicked the lmao addiction.
He dropped the caps on one of the posts, I thought this progress. But then the caps came back
November 30th, 2009
Oh wow, we ARE making progress!! It was his last post that he didn’t use caps!
Hot dawg!
Well done Kev! We all knew you could get there!
November 30th, 2009
that means while he’s laughing his ass off it’s more of a little giggle rather than a full fledged harty roar…

Kev,
You said Gears of War looks better than Uncharted 2 and Forza looks better than all racing games. Oh, please forgive me. You see I got a little delusional because I’m still finding it hard to believe that someone actually believes this.
December 1st, 2009
twilight – “You see I got a little delusional …”
that’s okay.
all you ps3 fanboys are delusional.
you guys actually think the graphics industry peeked with UC2, using a 2005 GPU…lmao…
December 2nd, 2009
I thought the game was cancel LMFAO. This the closer the Xbots are ever going to get to a proper Metal Gear Solid game. PlayStation basically owns Konami and MGS with Solid Snake.
December 2nd, 2009
“you guys actually think the graphics industry peeked with UC2, using a 2005 GPU…lmao…”
according to happy it barely uses the GPU at all.
December 2nd, 2009
maybe we can instigate jofa vs happy tech talk round two.
December 2nd, 2009
Not interested. I have better communities for taking part in techie talk. It is a waste for me to put in the effort to have actual debate on tech topics here, as we have all seen what the responses are like when I do.
December 2nd, 2009
tech talk on his end was me being very generous.
December 3rd, 2009
“as we have all seen what the responses are like when I do”
lmaoo HH is a funny dude..cant argue that
December 3rd, 2009
phranc – it was actually naughty dog says they used teh cell over the gpu for the graphics.
yet, according to you ps3 fanboys, it’s the best the industry will ever have.
we’ve hit the end of Moore’s law…congrats…lmao..
December 3rd, 2009
your right.
according to happy It doesn’t use the GPU at all. According the Naughty dog it uses it less than it did before while relying mostly on the SPU’s
Isn’t Moore’s law under dispute considering processor speeds haven’t changed that much and the addition of more cores is the difference.
Where is Jofa?
December 3rd, 2009
Moore’s law has been relegated to throughput capabilities, not just clock speed, in which case it has actually been somewhat consistent. Obviously clocks speeds are not good enough (single core P4@3.73ghz is still fastest stock clock processor, but a 2.5ghz Dual core AMD will walk around it in almost every way)
Kev doesn’t know enough on the issue to be worth spending any time debating. This response was for phranc~
December 9th, 2009
“Moore’s Law describes a long-term trend in the history of computing hardware, in which the number of transistors that can be placed inexpensively on an integrated circuit has doubled approximately every two years.[1] [see image nearby”
hey, jofa…. if you use this prope definition of Moore’s law, you’ll see my post was in context, right on point, while proving you ps3 morons are clowns for believing hardware from 2006 is the pinnacle of gaming hardware and graphics will NEVER get any better than what UC2 has shown…
you ps3 fanboys are just too stupid to be…lmao…
