Most notably, of course, it led to the creation of Infinity Ward and the creation of the Call Of Duty series. Modern Warfare 2 has been ultra successful, so is now the right time for EA to create and release a new Medal Of Honor title?

The company is already planning new Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, and Band Hero games in 2010 but it’s eyeing less SKUs. Which is some small relief I guess.

October NPD sales figures - Wii back on top, Uncharted 2 on PS3 sells wellNPD has released the U.S. sales figures for October. The recession continued to hit the video games sector, with sales down 19 percent over last year. September sales went against the grain, and it’s hoped that November will too thanks to the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2. But October wasn’t a good month overall.
