Modern Warfare 2 for Christmas? I’d rather have these DVDs thanks

Modern Warfare 2 for Christmas? I'd rather have these DVDs thanksI actually wouldn’t, but the title is the kind of sarcastic response I’d have given to my grandparents if they’d put me through the torture inflicted on one teenage gamer this Christmas.

Syaoran07 posted this picture on Reddit of what present he got from his grandfather when he asked for Modern Warfare 2 for Christmas. Instead of the bestselling video game, he got one of those cheap DVD collections of four war films. Probably all old, all B-movie quality, and all with worse storylines than the actual game.

Did this kid scream at how cruel life is or throw a tantrum in anguish at how out of touch his grandparents are? No, he burst out laughing, thanked them for their gift, and then watched the DVD. He even liked a couple of the films. So, he’s a polite boy but his taste leaves a little to be desired.

I personally blame the staff at Walmart who invariably directed the grandparents to the DVD when asked for Modern Warfare 2.

    LOL
Reading the thread and couldn’t stop laughing when read the guy working probably mislead the grandparents to the DVDs as a joke. That is something I would do.

    I would’ve prefered that over MW2.

Get some Steven Seagal and you’ve got a night in right there…
