Along with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward released the first classic Call of Duty game onto the Xbox 360 and PS3. The new updated version of the classic game recently shot up to the top echelon on both PSN Store and XBL Marketplace.

It’s been four years since Gran Turismo 4 was released. And we’re still waiting for Gran Turismo 5. So forgive me for expecting more for the first sighting of the game in the wild. Because for me the GT5 demo / GT Academy time trial is very disappointing.

We’re not big fans of the Wii here at Blorge. It has its place, of course, but that place isn’t underneath the TVs of serious gamers. However, whatever anyone may think of the Nintendo console, it’s been a storming success. And Amazon’s list of bestselling video games this decade shows just how much a success the little white box has been.

The software sales for the DLC expansions to Grand Theft Auto IV have not been up to expectations. This lead to a series of questioning at a Take-Two investor call where the company’s boss was drilled as to why this happened, despite fantastic claims made in the past.

Those finishing up Assassin’s Creed II may have noticed something odd about the game. The game is missing two chapters. Ubisoft recently revealed that the missing chapters will be coming soon in the form of downloadable content. This has many questioning whether or not they are truly getting what they paid for.

The Gran Turismo 5 demo is finally here, landing on PSN Dec. 17. And although it’s a time trial demo for the purposes of the GT Academy, and so only contains one track and an early build of the game, it’s still damn good for those of us who are fans of the series. And Kazunori Yamauchi has chosen now to start waxing lyrical about the game.

It seems as though each new year since the PS3 launched has been declared Sony’s year. And it hasn’t actually turned out that way, with both the Wii and Xbox 360 doing as well as or better than the Playstation 3. However, Sony does have big plans for 2010.

Dragon Age: Origins is Bioware’s latest epic RPG title out currently. As indicated by Bioware on several occasions, this is definitely the spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate. However, the question remains – does Dragon Age: Origins have what it takes to make a name for itself?

With the release of the PS3 Slim, Sony reduced the size of the console as well as its power consumption. However, it seems like the PS3 Slim at one point could have ended up with either a flash or network storage.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is an absolute smash hit on the consoles. Currently, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 version sales are in the millions in the U.S. alone. However, it seems like the PC platform did not perform as well as its console brethren.
