Hideo Kojima is an arrogant SOB
Hideo Kojima is a genius. Truly. Along with the likes of Shigeru Miyamoto and Fumito Ueda, Kojima is one of the Japanese gaming giants who has games coursing through his body like blood. And his creations are always spectacular and spectacularly good. But he is an arrogant son of a bitch. And I’m sure testimonies like that are the reason.
Maybe that’s being a little harsh. But it’s the only conclusion I can draw from this conversation Kojima had with OPM recently. It forms just a small part of a bigger interview, and maybe looks worse out of context, but still. Asked how many of the idea present in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker came from his team, he replied:
Well it’s strange, but not so many ideas come from the other staff. Co-op Ring, Love Box – the names and the ideas come from myself. I am taking charge of the overall game design.
Seriously? They all come from you, Hideo? Why do you not fire them all and get better people on your team then? I’m guessing this has more to do with the fact that the team knows not to bother even coming up with any ideas as Kojima will just ignore them and go his own way instead. Control freaktastic. Which appears to work rather well, so I’m not complaining.

Hideo Kojima has to take all the credit he wrote every MGS story produced it and directed them all plus codes duh he deserves all the credit the other staff is just doing the other things they are his slaves.
Metal Gear Solid: Rising is gonna suck because he’s not in full development. Is all about Peace Walker he’s new master piece. Xbotic will never get him LMFAO. He’s all PlayStation.

So true just look at MGS4 the story is beyond perfect just like UNCHARTED series awesome. Sony needs to buy Kojima Productions and the MGS IP fast it only belongs on PlayStation.

Usually high profile people are like this. Above the average people has a different mind track. I do not justify them but try to understand them.
Madonna is crazy, so was Michael Jackson. The most intelligent people in CERN and NASA may not be very nice people. It´s not that there is no place for politeness or diplomacy in those levels but they are not usually concerned with that. Due to their capabilities and the results they offer, this usually poses no problem:
“Control freaktastic. Which appears to work rather well, so I’m not complaining.”
And that´s how people react: “he is a jerk but gets the job done really well”. And there you go.
We generally admire the work of a person, but does that reflects the person itself?
I really admire Shigeru Miyamoto´s work but I don´t know if I ever want to meet him in person. What if he is a really nasty person?

I’m the the Google of Video Gaming then. Miyamoto sucks wtf Mario sucks. ZELDA and Metroid Prime plus Pikmin are the only game Nintendo has that are worth every penny. And that should had been better on Sony’s console.
