Microsoft teases Xbox 360 exclusive CAPCOM game
Microsoft is teasing a new game coming to the Xbox 360. The interesting part is that its an Xbox 360 exclusive and its being developed by CAPCOM. With CAPCOM’s vow to never go exclusive – what gives?
On the official Japanese Microsoft Xbox 360 site, Microsoft is teasing a new exclusive title coming to the console. The picture implies that CAPCOM is developing a game exclusively for the Xbox 360. There is a date indicating that it will be announced Jan. 26.
At the bottom of the picture it says CAPCOM title premiere for Xbox 360.
Its interesting to see CAPCOM developing an exclusive game after publically announcing that the company would only develop multiplatform games. This image has caused many to speculate that the game CAPCOM is developing might be Natal related. I guess we will all found out what this mysterious game is in a few days.

why does this imply that it is an exclusive? it was posted on an xbox website, so of course they won’t mention any other platform. duh. all this means is that they are releasing a substantial title for the xbox, nothing else. that web page makes no indication that it won’t also appear on the ps3, so capcom are still correct.

I remember the days of old school gaming where its only your console and EGM or Gamepro magazines for news and tips.

3 80GB PS3 1 80GB is not backwards compatible the rest are. Anyways i got 6 PS2 so i don’t need it much to be compatible.
Xbox 360 is a hassle too problematic and not enough good games. Microsoft doesn’t care about games they just care about milking out Halo and stealing money with their high prices on peripherals and charging for Xbox Live which is always full of lag and cheaters. Plus no Blu-ray wow.

indeed, starhawk will be amazing, syphon filter 5 hasnt been announced yet but sony bend was hiring ps3 programmers and people for motion capture on syphon filter 5, they advertised it.

Insomniac Games doesn’t want to be own but eventually they will and Sony would add them to their awesome company list. Microsoft shouldn’t even be considered a game studio. Valve sucks. EA is getting better. Sucker Punch Productions if they keep making more hits like they have been doing Sony would buy them for sure. The rest of the studios i don’t think Sony would buy them or they just won’t sell.
When Sony gets enough profit they should do a hostile take over for EA or Activision. Hostile because i doubt they will sell.

The big Capcom news is that they will be porting the 2007 PC title Monster hunter: frontier to the 360 in japan. It will cost gold members an additional $15/month.
Grabbing dead rising 2 as an exclusive would have been a better move Microsoft.

Actually, did u saw the latest promo of lost planet 2 with Marcus and Dom (gears of war) in it.. Thats the main news for me, now i gotta preorder lost planet 2 too

I really thought MS was going to have some big news. Dead rising 2 exclusive for 6 months or something. Of course it is Japan, and if MS didn’t give up on Japan by now they are wasting resources.
