With Halo: Reach on the horizon this year, Bungie has been talking up the game quite a bit. According to some recent comments made by the developers, Reach will push the Xbox 360 to its limits.

Hideo Kojima is a genius. Truly. Along with the likes of Shigeru Miyamoto and Fumito Ueda, Kojima is one of the Japanese gaming giants who has games coursing through his body like blood. And his creations are always spectacular and spectacularly good. But he is an arrogant son of a bitch. And I’m sure testimonies like that are the reason.

Tiger Woods has had a bad few months, to say the least. However, EA is sticking by him, at least for now, and the latest iteration of the long-running golf game bearing his name is upon us. It isn’t on consoles, instead being online and one of the new breed of free to play, social gaming efforts. And it’s now in open beta, meaning we can all give it a go.

In an interview with Bungie, it has been revealed that the story in Halo: Reach may take some liberties. Apparently these liberties may upset hardcore Halo fans of the franchise.

Microsoft’s Project Natal is currently trumping the PS3′s motion controller for hype and hope. The one thing Sony had on its side was timing, with the wand-like device due to be released in spring. Now, even that slight advantage has been lost, with the motion controller being delayed until the fall. When it will go head-to-head with Natal.

There’s been talk of the iPhone becoming a robust little gaming platform in the future, as Apple makes everything mobile and the form of an app. And the first must-have gaming app is about to be released. It’s called Ultimate Genesis and is a virtual console officially sanctioned by Sega.

David Jaffe last year indicated that God of War III looks like a beautiful oil painting in motion right before E3. The build that was shown at E3 of God of War III did blow everyone away with positive impressions. However, the screenshots recently released reveal that the latest build is on another level.

Bioware announced a massive expansion pack for the acclaimed Dragon Age: Origins. The expansion pack will be sold at retail and will include a hefty story that will run longer than your average full retail purchase. Interestingly enough the PC version of the expansion pack is said to have more sexual content than the console versions.
