You can use the bathroom in Heavy Rain
Heavy Rain review copies are out and one site has posted a snippet of the gameplay online. The interesting part about the video is that it shows that Heavy Rain allows you to do almost everything from turning a shower knob to using the bathroom.
A site recently put up a video snippet from Heavy Rain and it has everyone watching it intensely. The video does contain nudity, so if that sort of thing offends you I would advise against watching it.
The video shows Madison stripping off all of her clothes and taking a shower in the nude. She plods through the bathroom and proceeds to the toilet and starts urinating.
The second half of the video shows Madison fighting with several assailants and it gets pretty intense. The gameplay reminds me of a traditional RPG game like Bioware’s Dragon Age: Origins where you can move your character in real-time but actions are issued via command button presses.

Every scene that is leaked or released, raises my anticipation of this title. $5 bucks down on the preorder (for the free whatever) and 3 weeks to go.

I have had to make some choices in my games purchases lately, for lack of time due to being back in school. WKC is probably going to wait for a few months, as will GOW3. Basically, 3D Dot Game Heroes will probably be my next launch day purchase after Heavy Rain, heh.

School sucks. It eats up all of your free time. Sadly I am going to have to prioritize also. But with all of these games coming out, I have no idea what I’m actually going end up doing.
White Knight is shipping today, but I have no idea what my next purchase will be. Probably either FFXIII or GOW3. I really hope I don’t have to choose between the two.

I got the GOW3 update from Amazon saying it’s coming out two weeks earlier. They still have yet to update GOW3, Dantes inferno or Bioshock 2 with release day delivery.
I called them and they said that it should update based off of supplies.
I didn’t want to cancel my order and reorder in hope it would fix it as, each game for some reason is $4 more now than they were when I ordered.

the character animation is a bit clunky in places, but there is a good sense of drama in that footage. I just wonder how well such a heavily scripted game actually plays. I quite enjoy such scripted moments once in a while, but as a whole game? not sure. I wonder how heavily scripted Alan Wake is going to be.

I’m a fan of Amazon. They are usually pretty good with updates.
Also you have to love the 5% (or more) off on new games. It’s not much, but it adds up and every little bit helps. Plus you don’t have to go through the hassle of pre-ordering and putting money down.

Yeah FF is out on March 9th and comes with the $10 credit offer. GOW3 is out on March 16th and also has a $10 credit offer.
So… I’ll pre-order both now (at no charge), while the pre-ordering is good. I’ll apply the FF credit to GOW3.

Yeah there is a pretty big gap between GOW and 3D Dot, so if the demo is decent I’ll probably pick it up.

actually im going to get it right after work.
Im still working on Borderlands, Assasin’s Creed and Darksiders. and now WKC (which has a minimun of 85-100hrs plus). I will busy for a long time. I might hold on to Bioshock after all. Im more excited about Heavy Rain and its unique experience

If the ship date of WkC was today, then the game should be in store by tomorrow. The store usually gets the game a day after the listed shipping date.

I’ve read a few impressions and reviews that compare it to FFXI. It does look a lot like it from what I’ve seen.
btw.. I have class 6-10 on Tue, Wed, and Friday (plus an online). I’m not going to be able to meet every night like we did for Demon’s Souls.

I’ll probably cave and get WKC this week, not 100% sure yet though. All my classes are in the AM, and will have most afternoons/evenings for coursework and gaming, depending on how neglected the wife feels, but that is day to day anyhow.
