Splinter Cell: Conviction is an exclusive console title for the Xbox 360 and will also come out on the PC. However, like with any exclusive title there are always rumors about games going multiplatform. It seems like Conviction is no different.

Ninja Theory is the studio responsible for Heavenly Sword back a couple years ago for the PS3. The game received decent review scores, with a Metacritic average of 79. However, it seems like the game did not earn the studio any money.

Microsoft and Infinity Ward messed up big time yesterday by releasing the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package map pack broken. The issue now seems to have been fixed, but with the MW2 DLC already causing controversy due to its price, this is the last thing that was needed.

A recent scan taken from the latest European Playstation Mag reveals that God of War III may get a new multiplayer mode. As reported earlier, those who were brave enough to earn the Platinum trophy received a link to a secret Web site.

Recently Sony announced that the “Other OS” feature will be disabled. Sony indicated that the feature was being disabled for security reasons. In response to this move, alleged PS3 hacker, George Hotz vows to make a hacked firmware for the PS3.

No seriously, how many of you want to see a video game based on the Twilight books/films released on the console of your choice? A show of hands would be good. What? No one? OK, no surprise there. Still, there would undoubtedly be an audience for such a game, so why isn’t the industry exploiting it for all it’s worth?

It’s no secret that PS3 owners love the Final Fantasy franchise. The community has gobbled up just about every PSOne re-release on the Playstation Network. It seems like Final Fantasy fans will be in for another treat as there are some hints that Final Fantasy IX may be coming to PSN soon.

Sony recently announced that the latest firmware update 3.21 will disable the ability to install and use another OS on the PS3. This news may irritate many PS3 owners that heavily rely on Yellow Dog Linux (YDL).
