Mass Effect 2 carries over 700 decisions from first game
One of the features touted for Mass Effect 2 is its ability to carry over plot decisions from the first game. Recently, BioWare revealed that the second game in the franchise carries over 700 plot choices from the save files of the first game.
Mass Effect 2 is definitely a contender for Game of the Year in my book. The brilliant guys at Bioware crafted a seamless world by allowing plot decisions to be carried over from the first game in the series.
While playing through ME2 I noticed subtle things such as meeting characters I saved from the first game. It made me wonder what would have happened if I had decided not to save these characters. In my virtual terminal inside ME2 I also received emails from other characters who I have helped during the first game. Even though it does not impact the game in anyway, it does help craft a better experience.
According to Kotaku, BioWare’s lead cinematic designer Armando Troisi stated that over 700 of the player decisions were carried over to the sequel at GDC. I can imagine things getting a bit messy with Mass Effect 3, as the developers will not only have to carry over plot choices from the second game, but also the first.

lol Ivan talking about sales as if it was more important than gameplay, like Battlefield 2 currently selling 8x as much on 360 as Heavy Rain on PS3 makes a difference in the experience. ME2 outsold everything else with only 4 days in Jan. and was still outselling every other PS3 title in Feb. but that doesn’t make a difference as the game itself is so much more than it’s sales. If the Move or Natal ends up that precise and a certain video game franchise comes back to take advantage of the features I would certainly be interest.
I’m refering to Jet Set Radio… Graphics would be hot on either PS3 or 360 and motion control would just be awsome.
Last gen is still last gen. Halo 3 isn’t last gen. There is no Jak and Daxter or Sly games on PS3. There is however Halo 3 on 360. That is current gen. And so far its the top selling game on ANY current gen console, even beating CoD: MW2.
Maybe the only current gen game that can beat Halo 3 for sales is Wii Play lmao… and we all know that #1 Wii is not for hardcore gamers cause it sucks and #2 it only sold so well because it came packed in with that extra controller

I just finished watching GDC 2010 Game Developers Choice Awards – Ivan_PSP soon to be uploaded witht hat name. UNCHARTED 2: Among thieves took almost every award it won Game of the Year. Demon’s Souls was nominated for GotY. Nothing for Xbox 360 or Wii or PSP only multiplaform. Flower won awards too. I thank GameSpot for letting users download this awesome event. I now will go back to GameSpot i. I was a member for like 4 years. I will upload the whole event on Megaupload and i will posted on my website forum which is link to my name here Ivan_PSP. Xbox 360 and Wii are just a waste of entertainment. Can’t to see more PS3 exclusives from Sony win Game of the Year over and over again for ever. So I finally sunk some time into FFXIII… it’s really. really different… but it’s really good.
Basically they shifted focus from individual actions, to utilizing the different roles effectively in battle. It works surprisingly well.
