New Bungie game Marathon a remake of the former Apple exclusive?
Bungie has been secretly working on the genesis of the studios next big franchise. The first bit of information came out today when it was discovered that the studio filed for a new trademark for Marathon.
Many gamers today will probably not know that Bungie got its start with a FPS trilogy called Marathon. The game received a bit of attention from the gaming community back in the 1994. The game series has strong roots on the Apple Mac, as that was the primary platform it came out on.
Bungie kindly released the code for Marathon 2 out to the public before being gulped by Microsoft. The Marathon fan community has taken the open source code to another level by making tons of mods to it. There is even a cult following that still plays Marathon to this day.
Actually, one of the latest fan ports for the Marathon game was for the PS3. Hardcore Marathon gamers have gotten the game to run on Yellow Dog Linux for the PS3 earlier last year.
With Bungie filing a new trademark for Marathon last week, it’s a good bet that the studio’s next big series will have something to do with Bungie’s grass roots franchise. What better way to get out from under Microsoft’s shadow then to work on a franchise that was exclusively on Apple’s Mac.

Another crappy shooter wow i saw Marathon like 10 years ago it looked awful as it should but they should try to make games like Sony’s studios.

No problem glad to help. And yeah man Xbox 360 is pure trash and that’s a proven FACT.
Maybe one day Devil May Cry 5 would come hopefully only On PlayStation so it can be done in full 1080p and 60fps like GT5.

Sony’s Ice Team might make UNCHARTED for PSP. Naughty Dog wants also Jak & Daxter one day on PS3. And they are working on more DLC for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. I love this interview Evan Wells rulez my favorite video game person.

Cool avatar. I heard a while back Capcom likes the idea of bring games like Devil May Cry 1 and 2 to PS2 as a Collection like remastered like Sony did a while back. I do think they making DMC4 in the future i myself love the game i remember back when it was released exclusively on PS2 the TV ads were awesome.
Devil May Cry was supposedly going to be a Resident Evil sequel but it turnout to be a whole new awesome PlayStation franchise that just recently went to other places.

Medal of Honor I’m buying for sure finally EA’s first really good must buy game in this generation. I remember when the series started with the same name on the brand only know to over 300 million players as PlayStation. Yes Killzone 3 will be awesome Killzone 2 revolutionary gaming with WARZONE.
