Grand Theft Auto IV DLCs delayed two weeks by Sony
The very long-awaited Grand Theft Auto IV DLCs, Episodes from Liberty City, will be delayed by two weeks for the PS3 and PC. Apparently the short delay was requested by none other than Sony Europe.
According to Rockstar Games the Episodes from Liberty City will be delayed to April 13 for North America, and April 16 for all other territories. Rockstar Games explains the reason for the delay in a blog post. The decision for the delay came about when Sony Europe wanted Rockstar Games to make a minor change to the game.
Apparently the minor changes in the game have something to do with the content in the Liberty City “radio station, television and Internet.â€
Why is content being edited just for the European release? This doesn’t seem fair.
There are different regional requirements for content – whether dictated by ratings boards like the ESRB and BBFC or by SCEE – this is pretty standard in the world of entertainment.
It doesn’t sound like the modification should impact gameplay or story of the DLCs. Most likely Rockstar Games will be removing things like Nazi references from the radio for Germany’s sake.
The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony will be coming out on the PSN, PS3 retail package, and for the PC starting April 13.

A game is either on one or the other, or both.
PC trumps both platforms.
If you have the ability to enjoy a PC game on a console as well, or vice versa, more power to you. But the discussion here is usually about 360 and PS3, not PC.

Even Carlb put up the numbers and shown that the exclusives that the 360 had over the PS3 dropped year after year. Of course you have to look at the simple fact that the 360 was out for a year more raising the exclusive count. A lot of those games can no longer be found on store shelves anyway.
Another factor to look at is the games you look at. XBLA comes out with more games annually but most of them can be compared to psn minis and not even PSN games.

My friend’s Xbox360 broke. He was using my Xbox360 while Microsoft was fixing his Xbox360. I told him that he should get a Ps3. I let him take the Xbox360 back to the store that he gave me so he could get a Ps3 system. He had spent the rest of his money paying some bills. So far, he has been very pleased with the Ps3. He says that he is going to sell the Xbox360 when he gets the repaired one back from Microsoft. He doesn’t feel that it’s worth the headache dealing with Microsoft anymore. He says live is better but overall it’s not too much better than Ps3′s online service. He says that the Ps3 has similar features that Microsoft offers. He was surprised to find out that the Ps3 has Netflix. He hadn’t heard about this yet.

Dungeon Hunter was awesome… still on Zenonia now. It’s great to still be able to appreciate good gameplay even if the graphics are not complex. Like say Age of Zombies on PSP would be a great example.

You can get an iPod Touch for just $10 more new. Free games, music, google earth, voice search, dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, photos, web browsing, skype, voice recording, ebooks, comics, news, free music (lastfm, Pandora, etc.), videos, podcasts, notes, scheduling, computation, maps, apps, etc, etc.
I have an IPhone 3G (from my old plan back stateside) and an IPod Touch 3GS (purchased here) just dedicated to games. My Zune 120GB (treat from when I got back from Iraq) is dedicated to my music library, podcasts, and videos as it has the largest hard drive.
Yep, Square Enix just brought Final Fantasy I & II to the iPhone and now they are bringing a new IP altogether because they have done so well: Chaos Rings.

The majority of the market and developers seem to. Square Enix, Konami, Namco, Sega, Capcom, etc. Sony and apparently PSP gamers as well as Sony started porting some as minis and charging more for them, also the millions more who buy them instead of PSP games.
Twice Liquid, the first time was a lot more eventful… it looks like Afghanistan may be next, but we might have a trip to Mt. Fuji first. And thank you, I appreciate it.

The recruiters tell you an amazing story but once you join is hell i have so many friends here in the USA that once they enlisted is 4 years mandatory. They went to IRAQ and they told me that is was not worth it.
I know they can help you get a awesome job and they also pay for some or if not everything like scholarship i guess is not bad if you ready. But getting into Harvard and Yale you will need more then the army and money you need the brain those are elite universities.

I think you do have to be in shape to join the army in the states, unless you join the national guard. Its pretty easy to fail the medical processing.
as for contracts army wise they start at two years but they can keep you as long as 8 if they so decide.

I never said there were “no” sucessful redesign in the past, I said most redesigns in the past werent as sucessfull at all….not every single Nintendo and Sega’s redesign were sucessful, some of them were massive failures, and some of them never made it anywhere out of Japan…Sony have managed to make every console redesign a huge sucess and they had done it since they came into the gaming industry.

This was about 2 years ago mate, the Army was undermanned and we were going away for a tour, got back for a few months, then they sent us back out again. Can’t complain though I was fucking rich after lmao! Still got some of the money from it.
Yeah the British Army mate, Just wish the goverment gave a shit about it’s troops. I lost 3 mates last year too IEDs and they were on a patrol in a soft skin vehicle as well. In the papers next day there was a report about how all the protecte vehicles were being used by the Air Force back in England for training purposes. Takes the piss, I’ll be getting out soon anyway, had enough of it. Shame really because it’s common knowledge the British is the most highly trained in the world but we just don’t have the money or the equipment.
btw I was with few Yanks out there and I fucking loved them, really nice guys. I don’t know why in American films they make your Army look like hot headed loud gits, but in reality everyone of them I met were top blokes. Got along great with them, always wanting to trade stuff. They all seemed to have heard of my Regiment as well, The Fusiliers. They knew more about it’s history than me lmao. They kept wanting Regimental items off us, like the hackle of Fusilier shirts. They were giving us flash grenades for any item Fusilier lol.

Oh yeah I also remember Stripes (Army), Lions for Lambs(Army), Sgt Bilko(Army), Heartbreak Ridge(Marines), Full Metal Jacket (Marines) lol. As phranc said earlier, the exception to the rule isn’t necessarily the rule. Hollywood has expanded the spectrum lately for both the Army and the Marines though. I recommend The Hurt Locker (Army) and Taking Chance (Marines) as some of the better depictions (though still dramatized Hollywood style for effect… sigh) I have seen lately.
