Switzerland bans violent video games
Switzerland doesn’t like conflict, not even in video games. Which is why the European country has now banned all violent video games in a move sure to upset the nation’s gamers.
Last month saw the Swiss National Council set in motion calls for a ban on any video games that “requires cruel acts of violence against humans and human-like creatures for in-game successâ€. Which would be a hell of a lot of games, including all shooters which, as the name suggests, means gamers have to successfully shoot NPCs to progress.
According to MCV, the law has now been passed, although the exact details haven’t yet been decided on. It seems likely, however, that any game with a PEGI 16+ or PEGI 18+ certificate will be banned from being produced, distributed or sold in Switzerland.
Switzerland is known for not entering into international wars, and for having many laws designed to make the country some kind of bureaucratic haven. So I guess this was to be expected. Still, it seems a little harsh to say the least.

I missed two gorgon eyes and two feathers. I didn’t realize that I should have been using Helios head more. There’s probably some more hidden stuff I missed because of that.
That room that has the Ballista and the teleport pictures has some hidden stuff. It just takes some time and patience to figure it all out. The problem exist if you climb down the rope you can’t go back without a reload.

I’m going to be going through back catalog games. Also with Baseball season right around the corner I’ll probably be playing a lot less games in the upcoming months.
-Modnation racers looks good especially the unlimited amount of content that will be available.
-Price of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. I love these games. Probable because there’s not to many good platformers anymore besides POP and Tomb Raider games.
-Red Dead Redemption. Well..revolver was a good game. It all depends if reviews match my anticipation with this title. The graphics look last gen with what I saw but the game could be great. I’m tired of the GTA series so this may hold me over until Agent or LA Noire.
-Lost Planet 2. hmmm..Maybe. I found the demo to be OK. I have some faith in Capcom with this title though. It’s been in development for so long I may not be able to suck. I like the Co op idea.

2) Download this PS3 Proxy program Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!
3) Install the proxy program.
4) Go to Program Files and open the folder called like C5B43 or something like that. Open the Proxy program.
5) In the IP Address box, put in your IP address (i.e 192.168.1.136)
Go to Network Settings on your PS3.
6) Leave the port box as it is.
7) Check ‘PS3 Mode.’
9) Choose Wired/Wireless and keep going until you get to some Address thing with options Easy/Custom.
10) Choose Custom and keep going.
11) Choose ‘Auto’ for everything until you get to the Proxy Server option. Select ‘USE.’
12) Enter the IP Address and port you put in the PS3 Proxy Program.
13) Save your settings, but don’t test the connection.
14) Go to the 3rd tab in the program on your PC (should be called ‘Replace Files’ or something like that)
15) You should see 2 white boxes.
16) In the first white box, we have to put in the Folding@home download link – http://dus01.ps3.download.playst atio…us/fah/fah.pkg
17) When you have downloaded the Warhawk pkg, it will probably have a weird name. Rename it to fah.pkg
18) In the second white box, you should see a dot to the right. Click it and select the renamed Warhawk game (fah.pkg)
19) Go back to the first tab and press START
20) Go back to your PS3.
21) Delete Folding@home if it is already installed.
22) Go to the Folding@home icon like you’re about to download & install it again or for the first time.
23) Instead of seeing Folding@home being downloaded, you should see a much bigger file being downloaded (Warhawk)
24) Wait for it to finish and install itself.
25) Play!

My 60gb has firmware 1.10 everyone here knows i got 4 PS3.

yeah metro does look good, the only reviews i go by now is a metascore or ign, but if a game is appealing to me and gets bad reviews ill still play it, i mean aliens vs predator got a metascore of 68 and yet i still bought it and enjoyed it. it was a bit short but the overall experience was good, now if they would fix the damn matchmaking it be great.

The only review i trust is my own. So how do i do a differential from what’s good or bad. Well I take a quantum leap of faith. It has never stare me wrong. I put my money on Sony’s first party exclusive i no trust no other. I spend my money on video games very wisely.

Personally I would only have a problem with video games IF they promote hatred against other cultures, rape, or a traumatizing event that is highly offensive.

yeah i downloaded broken steel, operation anchorage and the pitt. didnt get the other two but i prob will eventually. i heard all of them were half price on Xbox live today or this week or something. operation anchorage is my least favourite but you get really cool armour that doesnt have to be repaired if you complete the expansion .
