The PS3 continues to be hot in demand despite a supply shortage. It appears that Sony is unable to crank out PS3s fast enough to meet the current level of demand. This can be frustrating to those expecting to get their hands on God of War III.

God of War III launched last night to a great deal of fanfare as gamers lined up dressed as Kratos to pick up their copy of the new action title by Sony Santa Monica. Everyone’s reaction to what they have played so far matches the amount of hype the game’s been getting as it truly is epic.

The debate over who butchered Final Fantasy XIII has reached fever pitch as fans across the globe have quibbled over some of its shortcomings. Many actually blame the Xbox 360 and Microsoft for Final Fantasy XIII’s unconventional linearity.

And there was I thinking DLC meant Downloadable Content. It doesn’t, at least according to 2K. Because the Bioshock 2 ‘DLC’ is actually already present on the retail disc, with purchasers merely buying the ability to unlock it. Which is absolutely disgusting.

One of the features touted for Mass Effect 2 is its ability to carry over plot decisions from the first game. Recently, BioWare revealed that the second game in the franchise carries over 700 plot choices from the save files of the first game.

Bungie has been secretly working on the genesis of the studios next big franchise. The first bit of information came out today when it was discovered that the studio filed for a new trademark for Marathon.

There is a rumor going around that Insomniac Games, a studio that has been historically PS3 exclusive will be going multiplatform. Considering the fact that Insomniac Games is an independent developer, this is completely feasible.

Recently Square Enix and major U.K. retail chain, HMV partnered up to hold a massive launch even for Final Fantasy XIII in London. Thousands of die-hard Final Fantasy fans showed up dressed up in costumes to win some swag. However, things started getting ugly when the Xbox 360 came out.
