Final Fight: Double Impact DRM impacts the PS3 version
It seems like DRM is the big topic today. Earlier reports of an unannounced implementation of a new DRM system for Final Fight: Double Impact has been confirmed. However, the new DRM seems to only apply to the PS3 version of the game.
It hasn’t been officially confirmed by Capcom yet, but according to a user on IGN forums the publisher has responded back to the user. Apparently Capcom is confirming that the DRM was put in place to restrict PS3’s game sharing capabilities.
The response also reveal that Capcom may be evaluating how successful this new DRM strategy will be. If successful, the company may consider implementing the new DRM to various games.
The reason why the PS3 version was the only version to get this DRM in the game is because the Xbox 360 already has a similar form of DRM. However, the main difference is that Microsoft is the one that implements the DRM system across the board. Sony, on the other hand has a more laissez-faire approach and leaves it up to the developers. Having a uniform DRM system by Sony may not be a bad idea as it will cut down on developers implementing their own convoluted system.
If you don’t agree regarding Capcom’s DRM implementation write to the publisher and let them know.

Game Sharing = More game sales
I never bought any games on Psn until I discovered I could share them.Since then I must have spent 150 to 200 dollars on there.Money I know I would never spent if the system didnt allow sharing.Same goes to the people I share with.
I was thinking on downloading this game.Now I’m not going to.

This shit is only going to hurt sales. I for one will not buy games with this shit in it. I have 3 PS3s and I like having the option to put my stuff on all 3.

You can sign into 5 PS3s and download the stuff you buy.
When you sign in you can re-download from your account management section.

we rotate when purchasing PSN games.
for example.
I buy FF7, the next dude buys FF8, the 3rd dude buys FF tactics and so on.

U can share games under your own account or you can create a new “dummy” account so all of you can download all the purchases under that account.
for me I have multiple systems, 2 at home and 1 at my girl’s place so I buy most of my games under my personall account and I just buy the ‘weird’ games under the share-account (games like noby noby boy, flower, flow and so on)

its totally legal……you can also do the same with PSP games, minis, betas, DLC, add-on, skins, Qore, themes etc……PSN doesnt let you share movies for some reason (but you can trasnfer it via USB to any device)

Yeah it is really cool. I’m not into baseball though. If they make a poker one I’m in. I don’t watch sports on TV I prefer to watch them live.

Sony brings Baseball channel to Canada but they don’t have movies! Obviously Sony does not know it’s customer. Baseball is dead in Canada. Movies would make more sense. It’s a good thing the 360 has them. They better off with a Hockey Channel then Baseball.

LOL they had something called a comet tail where the TV would see a long tail on it with a special chip at one time. They took it out for some reason. I guess they cost too much to loose in the crowd.

This seems like a great deal for people that have a favorite team but can’t watch them as they do not live in an area that regularly broadcast them.

The Lakers are being managed by Phil Jackson, one of the most respected person in the NBA and long with Kobe (who has really mature over the years)

College hoops are way more entertaining than the NBA. I don’t think Phil Jackson is that great of a coach, he just knows how to handle big egos. I mean who couldn’t win championships with Jordan, Pippen, Koby, Shaq, and so on.

I agree about Phil having coached some of the best players but I never said he is the greatest (which can be debatable), I said he is one of the most respected person in the NBA… but same can be said about all the gratest coaches, they have all have great players around them. Once Shaq and Phil left the Lakers were a disaster and Phil came back the Lakers have been at the top of the west and have gone to the Finals twice while winning one championship.
even most of the greatest players have always have a great supporting cast around them, we can even debate whether MJ would have won as many championships without Phil, Pippen (best defense), Rodman (leader in rebounds), S. Kerr (one of the top 3-point shooters)…

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to get the Yes network instead of buying the MLB package for Yankee games. Plus with the way ESPN loves the east coast, they pretty much show the whole game in the highlights anyway.
By the way, leave it to A-rod to cross the pitchers mound. But we all know if the rule isn’t written in the rule book, A-rod will do it.
