Free Realms finally coming to the PS3 this year
Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) a division of Sony has been working on three MMOs for the PS3: Free Realms, The Agency and DC Universe. There hasn’t been much news about The Agency in a while, but Free Realms has been doing quite well on the PC. According to reports Free Realms may finally be coming to the PS3 this year.
SOE announced that Free Realms would be released for the PS3. However, it has been one year since the launch of the PC version. According to Kotaku, the folks at SOE confirmed that Free Realms is indeed in development for the PS3 currently and will demoed during E3 this year.
SOE stated:
Free Realms for the PlayStation 3 is very much in development and, you heard it here first, fans can be prepared to see the first demo in action in June at E3!
Free Realms may be the first free-to-play MMO to come to a home console. This model already has been proven successful on the PC, but has yet to be tested on the console market. I believe that in some ways console owners may be a bit more accepting of a free-to-play model than PC owners.
Gamers on the consoles have gotten used to purchasing DLCs and full blown games via XBL and PSN over the years. In contrast, the PC Steam is pretty much the only major online service provider for digital distribution. Stay tuned for more info about this title in June.

Sony Online Entertainment has four PS3 games being released this year. I want 3 of they really bad my numbero uno being Free Realms which i play a lot on my VAIO and the second will be The Agency and next DC Universe. I don’t want Magic since is a card game.
Free Realms has over 10 million online registered users. The game has a pay model but is optional which i got along with Everquest II.

Our Dell Quadcore PC Desktop uses 250 watts
Our Xbox360 uses 187 watts
Our 250GBPS3 uses 80-96 watts
New PS3 SKU CECH-2100A will use 68-82 watts
MMO in the PS3 is a no brainer.

The interface is easy to follow albeit detailed. The tutorial gives a very solid understanding of the mechanics of the game. It’s made so children can understand what’s going on and it succeeds.
9.0 Graphics
Bright and colorful, even in the spookier areas, is a perfect art style for a title targeted at a younger audience.
7.0 Sound
It does its job, although most adults will find themselves turning it off.
9.0 Gameplay
There are a great variety of jobs to pursue, plenty of quests and several non-job related activities to play through. Basically, there’s a ton of great gameplay.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
It’s an MMORPG and expectations of new content and changes to existing content means this could be a game to play for many many years.

LBP is the game of choice for my brother on the ps3, and it overall is a great platformer. That game seems geared to children but it actually is a good game. I wouldn’t turn the other way cause of its cartoony appeal, I would turn it away cause its an MMO.

It has 10 million subscriber already is in the Guinness World Record for faster subscribers. This game is for everyone.

because there is more than one review, the one I posted pointed out some things yours missed, plus I actually commented on it instead of just pasting.
Making a parallel between systems/subjects isn’t the “fanboy gutter”, and neither is posting good reviews and then commenting positively on them. I didn’t demonize Sony, and the manufacturer retaining some control over the system they make has some benefits. Even you can agree with that.

I haven’t checked all of the reviews for it… is it the “lowest”? If so that’s great, as it is only a 1 point difference and still considered “good”. My quote also mentions quite a few favorable things as well as my comment on the game itself being positive. Apologies if it is not gushing with praise as much as you would want it to be for a PS3 title.
I imagine you could have posted a “middle of the road review” and commented with your perspective of the title as well, adding a different perspective instead of doing nothing but complaining about other peoples posts here.

I had googled it and it came up as the second result and the only other legit gaming website review on the front page of results.
But if you are going for fairness and objectivity, if someone had already posted the best review for the game and quoted it, what is wrong with somebody else posting the “worst” review for a game for a more critical take? You must be overly sensitive to the valid criticism mixed in with praise… mysteriously.

Sorry, I can’t get into the flying monkey. It’s just my opinion, don’t take it personally.
Racers. I have yet to play Forza 3, and played GT years ago on PS2 and PS1. Meh. I do find the whole great debate between Forza and GT amusing though.
MAG. Online shooter. I haven’t even bothered to try the top rated shooter this gen yet, which is currently Halo 3, so it will take me a while to get to MAG, sorry.
SOCOM. Same.
God of War III. Called it as GotY before I even played it last year. Amazing game.
Heavy Rain. I will give it a try, eventually.
FF13. Available on both platforms, could give a shit about better cutscenes.
FFv13. Not here yet.
I didn’t post Eurogamer’s review because it was the worst, I posted it because it had more to add than what was already mentioned before. Don’t forget I did not discount the IGN review you already posted.
