The existence of Gears Of War 3 is now out in the open, with a leak followed by the official announcement a few days later. And if hype were the measure of a game’s success, Gears Of War 3 would already be a hit.

Xbox 360 owners can no longer brag of having exclusivity on the Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC, as both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony are now available on both the PS3 and PC as well. And about time too.

The incident over Activision firing former Infinity Ward heads, Vince Zampella and Jason West is finally coming full circle. Today, EA announced the formation of a brand new studio headed by none other than the former IW heads.

The launch date for Metal Gear: Peace Walker is quickly approaching. This game may be the biggest hardcore title to hit the handhelds in a very long time. Of course what would be a Metal Gear game launch without some sort of bundle to come with it?

Some people were worried that Natal wasn’t going to live up to expectations as the response times and sensitivity of the camera-based system were poor. However, it now appears that is no longer the case. Natal lives!

Quantic Dream CEO David Cage recently announced that Heavy Rain has passed the one million units sold milestone. Why is this news? Because the PS3 exclusive was thought to be a niche title that wouldn’t sell well at all. And it has.

There is an interesting story floating around today about a game Microsoft is refusing to support because it’s on other platforms. The game is question is Machinarium which was released on PC, Mac and Linux.

Online gaming is now where it’s at. Almost every game comes with some form of online multiplayer option, and it’s the driving force behind the success of titles such as Call Of Duty. Hell, even SingStar is now getting in on the action.
