There has been a great deal of churn in the video game industry when you consider what has happened in the last six to eight months. Once great studios have either closed down or bought out and developers jumping ship is not a uncommon occurrence these days.

Many of you may remember OnLive from last year’s GDC. The cloud based streaming video game service made quite an impact last year with its futuristic take on video gaming. The service is prepping for its big launch with free stuff.

Twenty-one raids on premises across the United Arab Emirates have resulted in almost 30,000 pirated Xbox 360 games being confiscated by Microsoft Gulf.

There is a new rumor doing the rounds about Project Natal. According to sources, Microsoft has finally given the “project†a proper name. This rumor follows on the heel of another rumor indicating a price point of $150 for Natal.

Fans of the first inFAMOUS game by Sucker Punch may be in for a treat. According to rumors, Sony is set to make some announcements at E3 that will involve a slew of sequels to existing franchises.

Remastering PS2 games for the PS3 has worked out well for Sony. God of War Collection for the PS3 included remastered versions of both the first and second game in the series.

According to reports a crazed French video game player hunted down someone he played against online. The gamer apparently wanted to seek revenge over a Counter Strike match, in which he lost.
