JAW announces new Oddworld games
After a few months of speculation, it’s been announced that there are indeed new Oddworld games incoming on multiple platforms.
Just Add Water has revealed they are working with Oddworld Inhabitants on a number of different titles. After first discussing the opportunity of new games under the Oddworld umbrella 12 months ago, work has now begun on bringing them to fruition.
Unfortunately, there is little in terms of details yet being revealed, with the press release stating:
Whilst we cannot go into specifics right now, we can tell you that over the coming weeks and months we will be announcing these exciting projects starring all of your favourite Oddworld characters.
And The Sixth Axis didn’t manage to get much out of the company in an interview either.
I really enjoyed the first two games starring Abe on the Playstation, and am hoping these new titles will go back to the roots of the series. Is anyone else pleased to hear Oddworld is returning?

Oddworld brings back some memories… Maybe this will see a revival of that lost Oddworld game that was canceled several years ago. I can’t rmemeber the name but it was looking to be very interesting.

Abe’s Oddysey and Abe’s Exodus were both really fun and unique. I never played any other games quite like those 2.
any game where some of the actions you can perform are farting, controlling enemies minds, making people walk off edges and plummet to their deaths and other things like that is worth checking out in my book lol
I think both Abe games are available on PSN aren’t they?

I have all but Munch.
I wish that last one that was in development didn’t get canceled. I still can’t remember any info about it though
