Even hot girls can’t make Kinect work
Bad News! Kinect doesn’t work any better for hot girls than it does for munters and mingers. Still, watching the former makes for a better spectator sport.
There’s still some concern as to how well Kinect works. It appears to be a little sensitive and a little troublesome to use. Which is why Microsoft faked the on-stage demonstrations at E3 2010.
One solution is obviously to hire two hot girls to demonstrate the new Xbox 360 hardware. Even if it doesn’t quite work, there’s some eye candy on hand to take everyone’s mind off it.
Unfortunately, these two girls really muff it up, to the point even their exposed midriffs cannot divert my attention. Their avatars continually stop and start, they keep being told to move left and right, and one of them even makes her avatar look like she’s taking a dump at one point.
Is it just me or does this strike anyone else as a little worrying? If Kinect is really that troublesome to get working then Microsoft should prepare for multiple complaints upon release.

the fact is that PS3 is above the new 360 S in sales on Amazon. it has been for a while now. replacements can only get you so far.
oh yeah, finacial results proved to be in Sony’s favor as it outsold the 360 all across the board.
I sure the PS3 will overtake the 360 by the end of next year. why would you doubt that, the 360 had a whole year with no competition while the PS3 has to battle each sales against the 360 and Wii but yet the PS3 has managed to keep the 360 at bay and within reach.
Amazon proves the 360 sales are back to normal..will see the NPD to see if the 360 sell more than 100K more than the PS3 anything less is back to normal.

While Amazon isn’t the end all of data in the US, it’s a decent enough indicator of trends (I know..I know, I sound like a broken record).
When the 360S came out it topped the charts for a couple of days on Amazon.
Now the PS3 Slim is a head of it. All I believe Roca is saying is just that.
The 360S had it’s momentum and now the PS3 Slim is beating it again in sales on Amazon.

That report about the stock sold was from Patcher. It wasn’t a prediction though like usual. They claimed retailers said that 60% of the 360′s sold were discounted older models while the “S” model attributed to the other 40%.

The Amazon stuff being brought up here is to show that after a quick burst onto the scene the “S” model is now behind the PS3 SLim in sales at Amazon.
I bet even you would have expected the new model to at least hold off the PS3 for more than a week, but according to Amazon charts this is not the case.

Here in the UK you could get a Jasper Elite brand new with game for £135 ($215 US/$236 Aus) at Asda – the hypermarket owned in the UK by the Walmart group.
A comment in release week says nothing about how buying patterns have shifted since tho – and we know Xbox has been seeling very strongly in all territories.

NPD will include OLD Arcade, Elite, FF13 Bundle & SC:C Bundle – which you can find plenty in most retail store. NDP will show the combined sales for every 360 SKU while on Amazon you can compare specific SKU and see that the PS3 is ranking higher in sales. in fact, the 360 surge in sales couldn’t even last more than a Week.

Blu-ray was equally uncompetitive verses HD DVD which was not only substantially cheaper but also (in Europe) offered more content at that point.
