Rage and Crysis 2 release dates confirmed
Rage and Crysis 2 are two games that have been on many gamer’s radar. Despite rumors of a 2012 release date, the games have finally been dated officially for 2011.
Crysis 2 was actually suppose to come out this year. However, EA decided to delay the game without offering an official release date. There is some speculation this was done to move the game out of a busy period.
According to CVG, Crytek announced the official release date for Crysis 2. The game is set to be released on March 22 in NA and March 25 in Europe.
Another title that has been getting quite a bit of attention is id Software’s Rage. The game uses mega-textures and could be one of the best looking games so far. id Software has been tightlipped on an official release date indicating that the game will ship when its ready.
However, recently the folks at id Software confirmed that the game will be released Sept. 13, 2011 in NA and Sept. 15 for Europe. Stay tuned for more information on these two exciting titles.

march 2011 is busier than fall 2010, I think Crytek are having problems with console development.

Rage is coming out in September! That’s Halo’s month. I know nothing has been mentioned but I expect 343 to release a Halo game around that time next year. So basicall I don’t know if that’s a good month to release Rage.

So Roca are you getting Halo Reach when it come out. Make sure you do because it will be tons of fun. I’m almost sure there will be a month of LIVE offered Free with the purchase of the game so don’t miss out because you need to see why Halo sells the way it does.

Nah Halo Reach will be a good distraction, I’ll get it day of release. Doubt it will top Halo 2 though.

Next year is going to be big. Infamous 2 is at the top of my PS3 list, especially now that they’re putting testicles back onto Cole, that ‘new’ Cole wasn’t as cool as the first Cole.

For starter I’ll be busy with all the free PSN+ content for that month as I have been busy all August with Critter Crunch (PSN), Syphon Filter (PSOne Classic) and Fat Princess’ DLC.
Also, my copy of the European version of Demon’s Souls will arrive soon and that’s a 200+ hour game. I will get Under Siege which is a very awesome RTS with Move support. Maybe I will also get The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest if it turns out to be a good game but Under Siege, Demon’s Souls (EU) and PSN+ content should keep me busy all September.
October will be the month for multiplatform games…and then back to more exclusive in November with GT5, DC Uneverse Online and LBP2.

I’ve only got eyes for GT5 this year.
Although there’s no rush to buy everything. I’ve only just started buying the countless PS2 series’ that completely passed my by. They’re cheap, and they run great upscaled on the PS3.

My plans for this year;
- Sept – Halo Reach
- Oct – Maybe New Vegas – Not sure about this one, apparently it’s samey to Fallout 3. Obsidian did make Knights Of The Old Republic 2, which was pretty samey to the original Bioware one.
- Nov – Fable 3, Black Ops, and maybe GT5.
- December – Try to finish aforementioned games, eat lots of food and drink a shitload of beer.

Yeah I have to admit, Obsidian doesn’t really have a great track record.
Supposedly New Vegas is pretty much the same as Fallout 3 with some minor improvements (which sounds good to me). Hopefully they don’t screw it up.
Also eating foot and drinking shitloads of beer is my favorite thing about the holidays.

Dead Space is set for the end of January. That’s high up on my list also.. It looks incredible.
NBA Jam is only available with NBA Elite I think.

LBP is a lot of fun. It’s one of those games that you can’t help but to have a grin on your face while playing.
Plus the tools for creating levels are really impressive. If you can dream it, you can probably do it. It just takes some patience.

I played Halo 1 just to see what the big deal was. It had some fun moments but definately doesn’t make the top 10 for me.
I played Halo 2, and got rid of it quickly lol.
I own Halo wars. I like RTS games and this one isn’t too bad.
I never played 3. Might play it one day. Just for the hell of it. Not really all that into it though.
i’d rather play Gears of War.

Oh I put Gears over Halo anyday but it does not mean Halo sucks. Halo is a excellent game and the additions and changes to the gameplay on Reach will make the game even better. I played the Multiplayer Beta so I have already had a taste and I’ll be there at midnight to get my copy.

Let’s see…
I think I might have played Halo 1 at some point. Obviously if I did, it wasn’t a life changing experience for me.
I played through most of Halo 2 co-oping with a friend via split screen. It was fun, but I wasn’t really blown away by what I was playing.
I played Halo 3 a few different times at various places:
-The single player was pretty disappointing. I think the hype around it may have hurt my opinion. I was expecting something incredible, but instead it looked and played just like Halo 2.
-The online was ok, but again I just didn’t see anything all that different from the countless other online FPSs.

Halo 1 had a couple interesting moments for me..
But of course that was pretty much ruined by the flood.
Halo 2 was… well I can’t really even remember much of anything about it. Cept that the character models ub cutscenes looked like shit! lmao. Master Chief looked ok, but other characters like the admiral and whomever else were horrible.
There is 1 undeniably awsome thing about Halo though…
The theme song! That shit is FahKin awsome.

Maybe 343 studios will release a 4 hour expansion pack with some Maps thrown in and charge $60 for it.
