New inFAMOUS 2 trailer unveiled at PAX
Sony recently demoed inFAMOUS 2 at PAX and the game is looking amazing. It appears that Sucker Punch has taken the game up a notch in graphics and gameplay.
It looks like inFAMOUS 2 is running a lot faster than the first game with the pacing amped up significantly. Cole’s powers have also become deadlier.
During the PAX conference Sony released a brand new trailer showing some gameplay and Cole’s new look. Sony had seven kiosks running a demo of the game.
The demo let players try out the new “amp” weapon. The demo also featured a new move called the Ionic Vortex. I have to say, Cole’s new car throwing power looks pretty sweet.
The new video also features an enemy or boss battle that seems to be able to burrow underground. The game is definitely shaping up nicely. inFAMOUS 2 is set to release sometime next year on the PS3.

holy fuck that game looks epic!!! day one purchase for me. . .that looks like it can rival uncharted 2! the graphics are a million times better than the original inFamous. . .See how sony are constantly bringing out AAA games, maybe microshaft should take a leaf out of sonys book……..(waits for CAD and Jojo to write an essay)

This looks like this is going to make another great addition to the Ps3 library of exclusive games. I also have an eye on the game Castlevania. This game is looking pretty sweet.

I’m looking at Castlevania as well.
The PS3 version offers a $20 video game credit on Amazon.
Infamous 2 looks great.Big improvement visually over the first one.

I have to admit, I think InFamous 2 is probably my most anticipated Sony game at the moment.

@ surv1vor: I suppose it is pal, I really don’t care which exclusive or console is better one single bit, I have both and love both of them. It’s just ever since HH started trying to give me shit and act like he’s better than me I feel like I have to try to bait the little prick. I mean this guy thinks ODST looks better than Killzone 2.

I still need to play the first one.
I need to get use to the controls. They feel too loose. It may look better than Uncharted 2 but Uncharted 2 has great control.

This Game is going to be awesome, the demo shows alot of new powers but lets not forget that Cole have different power depending on which path (Hero or Infamous) you choose…add to that a whole new set of power (Ice) and think of what this game is going to be like.
