Playstation Blog Blowout: Section 8 50% off, Killzone 3 coming to D.C. and Family Guy on Modnation
Its been a busy day over at the U.S. Playstation blog with guest appearances and event announcements. The community manager over there has been doing a great job in keeping things interesting for Playstation fans.
Massive Sony booth in D.C.
Brian Gauld, SCEA media partnerships specialist just revealed that the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit (Tekken 6 tourney) will be coming to Washington D.C. this weekend. Gamers on the east coast might want to head down to the newly built Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center to get a chance to play upcoming PS3 exclusive games such as Killzone 3, Dead Nation co-op and more.
Killzone 3 will be playable in full stereoscopic 3D at the convention center at Sony’s massive booth. I plan on checking it out this weekend as well.

The PlayStation booth will be open for business during the following hours:
Friday: 1:30pm – 10:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 10:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Family Guy meets Modnation Monday
Ramone Russell, community manager of SCEA invited the artists behind the Family Guy show to take over the Modnation Monday blog post. These guys went wild with the post by putting up some zany comments.
In addition the artists behind the hit show posted their creations in Modnation and entertained many of the questions posed by other gamers on the site.

Section 8 50 percent off on PSN – Prejudice coming soon
Mark Yetter, game designer for TimeGate Studios revealed a massive deal on Section 8. The game is getting a massive 50 percent price cut off title. You will be able to pick up Section 8 for $14.99 via PSN.
Yetter also revealed Section 8: Prejudice coming to the PS3 in 2011.

we’ll be getting Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee (PS1 Game) and there will be a KZ3 theme <- the first 5,000 ppl who download the theme will automatically get access to the KZ3 beta.
AC: Brotherhood beta is available for all PSN+ members.. I received a PSN message that gave me access to the Dead Space 2 beta (DS2 MP is looking good)
