Crazy Taxi HD heading to PSN, XBLA
Crazy Taxi is back, with a new high-definition version coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 in November. Will nostalgia drive sales?
I loved Crazy Taxi back in the day. It remains one of the most fun, most addictive games I’ve ever played. And a new HD version is now heading for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
There have been rumors and leaks suggesting this was happening for months, but Sega has now confirmed the release date alongside a spanking new trailer.
Wow. That takes me back. But while the gameplay remains the same and is likely to draw me in once again, the game is certainly showing its age. Which suggests this is one purely for those seeking to remind themselves of lengthy gaming sessions when they were a decade younger. God, I’m old.
Crazy Taxi HD features 720p widescreen visuals and Achievements/Trophies, and will be available to purchase on Nov. 24 from the PSN Store and the Xbox Live Arcade. The PS3 version will cost $9.99 and the Xbox 360 will cost 800 Microsoft points. Will you be purchasing a copy in order to relive those fond Arcade or Dreamcast memories?

I am totally excited about the idea of porting Dreamcast games to PSN and XBLA, but Crazy Taxi just doesn’t do it for me.
Give me Jet Set Radio and I will be happy.

Absolutely fucking….NOT! That’s why I have a DREAMCAST and a SEGA GENESIS to enjoy my beloved Sega games. I’m sick of seeing my beloved Sega games turned into cash cows. -_-

How…DARE you speak such atrocities of Sega!! If you want to play our games then go FUCKING buy a Sega!!! Join the Sega club and abandon these modern day bastards.
One day we’ll resurrect and destroy Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, I guarantee it!!! I’m currently injecting “betrayal” poison into Sony for what they did to the Dreamcast. NO ONE fucks with Sega and gets away with it
lmao!

@TFoS
Either your joking or your a fucking idiot.
I still have my Dreamcast and alot of games for it, including Jet Set Radio.
But I would still like to see JSR and alot of other DC games be redone anyway.
there is nothig wrong with porting old Sega games for current systems. Unless its another friggin port of Lunar Silver Star Story.
Sega games that DESERVE to be redone:
Shining Force 1,2, and 3. Also release the other parts of 3 that were never released outside of Japan.
Beyond Oasis and Legend of Oasis. Beyond was released as part of the Sonics Mega Collection, but a total remake would be sweet.
Popful mail
Albert Odyssey
Dragon Force
And many others that are worthy of attention but I can’t remember right now

@ Falcon Man (eh just had to)
Lol of coarse I’m joking, geesh don’t get your feathers all ruffled up.
I agree also that it would be nice to re-make some Sega games as well. But the latest port of Sonic Adventure on PS3 and Xbox 360 turned my stomach!
Hopefully Mortal Kombat Trilogy will receive an HD make-over on the PS3…
