News of Gran Turismo 5’s delay is hitting the news outlets hard, which is extremely surprising considering it’s a video game. News outlets from The New York Times, Bloomberg to the Wall Street Journal have reported on this bit of news.

It seems like those expecting a custom firmware to hack the PS3 can give up now as Sony has pretty much nullified the PSJailbreak exploit. Even though people like to call it a PS3 hack it was in essence a glitch.

This is getting silly now. Delaying a game months from release is one thing, but not days from release. Especially when the game in question is Gran Turismo 5 and it’s already been delayed several times. What the hell are Polyphony Digital and Sony playing at?

There is a new rumor doing the rounds about an alleged price drop the PSP Go starting this Friday. This hasn’t been confirmed yet but all signs point towards this being highly likely.

Its amazing how much the industry has changed over the years. During previous console cycles NPD didn’t regularly release sales numbers unless it was the holidays. It looks like NPD’s monthly sales report will finally be ending starting this month.
