Assassin’s Creed Ascendance and PS3 exclusive DLC detailed

November 15, 2010

Assassin's Creed Ascendance and PS3 exclusive DLC detailed Ezio Auditore’s journey only started in Assassin’s Creed II after exacting revenge over the murder of his family. In Brotherhood, Ezio is well on his way to forming the order of assassins. However, between the two events he has been pretty busy as well.

Ubisoft just announced Assassin’s Creed Ascendance, which will chronicle Eizo’s tale between Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood. Ascendance is an animated short film that will be released November 16 over PSN and XBL. The film will cost you $1.99 or 160 MS points. Hopefully Ubisoft will allow loyal gamers to use their Uplay points to get the film.

Also, the publisher has announced a PS3 exclusive DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. The DLC titled Copernicus Conspiracy will feature the famous renaissance astronomer Copernicus. As the title indicates, the new story will revolve around a conspiracy against the famed scientist and his ideas.

The story will span several missions or most likely “memory” chapter segments. The DLC is scheduled to become available November 19 over PSN for free on the same day as Brotherhood’s retail release.

The mp in Brotherhood looks pretty good.

Yet again Ubisoft think of a fresh take on killing people.

Mp in Splinter Cell was quality as was the co-op. I wish more games had co-op through the sp.

Now Sony needs to somehow actually advertise the fact that they got an exclusive free DLC package to make the PS3 version for enticing.

Yeah.. That won’t happen *rolls eyes*

    It sucks ass.

  4. dans303:

    @nc

    In what way?

  5. ncaissie:

It is very boring. All you do is hunt down a character shown in the little window. kill them or be killed. Then move on to the next one. You have to sneak up on them. It gets old after 2 minutes. I played the Beta.

both of us (ncassie and I) played the AC: brotherhood beta and we were disppointed..it as boring as hell.

  7. dans303:

Oh, I was looking forward to it as well.

I’ll try it myself first but thanx for the tip.

  8. phranctoast:

I’m eventually going to get it, but not because of the multi-player.

I enjoyed both AC games and I expect I will enjoy this one too. I’ll just wait until it drops in price as these games seem to drastically drop and quickly.

  9. dans303:

Yeah, I was going to buy it anyway cos of the sp – i want to know what they’ll do after that weird as hell ending to AC 2.

  10. Roca.:

I’ll get it when the price drop too.
I’ll be busy with Sly Collection, GT5, Castlevania until LBP2 and KZ3 comes out.

  11. phranctoast:

Just bought Sly Collection. Should have it by the end of the week.

  12. Roca.:

    Awesome game,
You will get 4 set of trophies (not 3):
    Sly 1 (w/platinum)
    Sly 2 (w/platinum)
    Sly 3 (w/platinum)
Sly Mini games (12 trophies, its like a PSN game)

  13. dans303:

3 platinums! It’s like a dream come true.

  14. phranctoast:

Yeah. I looked into it. It’s a combined 790 points for trophies.

If you plat. all three games you can basically raise you trophy level up twice if you’re at level 11 or lower. (actually, you’d finish level 11 and be 25% into level 12)

Level 11 and below takes 400 points to level up where it takes 1600 points from Level 12 and on.

  15. phranctoast:

    Lv.10 2,400

Only 36 pts for a platinum seems a bit harsh to me.

  17. phranctoast:

“Only 36 pts for a platinum seems a bit harsh to me.”

Yeah. It’s about 15% of the games total trophy point value.

  19. phranctoast:

Reach Level 50 (Multiplayer trophy) will likely keep me from the Platinum for this game.

  20. dans303:

You just need to grind it out. Like the feathers from AC 2. I’ve currently got 88 with no help at all but I think i’ll get locations for the last 12 as it’s the only thing holding me back from platinum.

  21. phranctoast:

Yeah. I never go for MP trophies. I rarely care for the games enough or long enough to play it that much to get to what level 50 would be.

If it’s easy enough I’d do it. MP grinding for levels blows though.

  22. dans303:

    It sure does.

Make that 92 feathers. 8 more to go.

  23. ncaissie:

“Reach Level 50 (Multiplayer trophy) will likely keep me from the Platinum for this game.”
Yeah, it is very boring and you may fall asleep if ou try.
