Gran Turismo 5 launched today and the review scores have started trickling out. There is only a handful of reviews out thus far and they have mostly been positive. If you are expecting full reviews from most major sites you will have to wait a bit as the review copies were shipped just two days ago.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is Konami’s reboot of the beloved vampire hunting series. Even though the franchise is nearly 25 years old, the series has a large cult following that have been thirsting for a good Castlevania game. Lords of Shadow aims to succeed where other 3D Castlevania games failed in the past.

The reboot to the Castlevania series with Lords of Shadow is a success in Konami’s eyes as the company has shipped over one million units thus far. This is a great achievement considering the fact that this is the first successful 3D Castlevania.

Sony is holding its own Black Friday starting tomorrow with a massive sale across some great titles in the PSN store. Some of the games will be up to 50 percent off the normal price.

Bioshock Infinite is Irrational Game’s massive undertaking that has pushed the studio to rebuild its engine from scratch. As detailed by Irrational, the new engine which was built with the PS3’s architecture in mind also uses tech seen in Uncharted 2.

It may have been over a year ago since Pandemic Studios was disbanded, but some of the team members have gone on to bigger things. The newly formed Microsoft studio, 343 Industries have taken on a good number of former Pandemic members for its next project.

Sony is teasing something big that warrants a dedicated event of sorts. The event is set to happen the day after the VGAs. There is some speculation that it could be Left 4 Dead for the PS3.
