Conclusions
More than any other console, the Wii is home to games which will split opinion. But we feel these are the essential Top 40 best Wii games to buy and play to death. If you only buy 40 games for your little white box then make them this lot. And if none appeal then buy a PS3 or Xbox 360 instead.

just because a game is good on the PS2 it doesn’t mean it is good on the Wii.

Nice list
, I think you listed 39 games instead of 40. I would take out (or disagree with) the following games:
- Wii Fit (since you have Wii Fit Plus there)
- Mario Party 8 (I don´t like it… at all)
- Metroid: Other M (Terrible game in my opinion, I rather Retro´s treatment of Samus than Sakamoto´s)
I would like to mention:
- Little King´s Story
- Rune Factory Frontier
- Zack and Wiki
- Wii Party (instead of Mario Party, much more streamlined)
- Lit
- Boom Blox 2
- Zombies in Wonderland
- Lost Winds 1 and 2
- Konami´s “Rebirth Series”

* Gradius
* Castlevania
I noticed you didn´t mention No More heroes 2 and I agree. The game has so much less content than the first one…
I didn´t know of Batallion Wars, Ivi the Kiwi and the Art of Balance.

I’ll be getting Epic Mickey this Xmas and Resistance 2. not sure what else (gamewise) I’m getting but I guess I just have to wait and see then.
