Bulletstorm to come with access to Gears of War 3 beta

Bulletstorm is Epic’s latest IP developed by People Can Fly. The game will be published by EA and is already getting some attention for its unique FPS air-juggling combo system. Epic Games is now offering one more reason to pick up Bulletstorm as it will come with access to the Gears of War 3 beta.

Those who are able to pick up a copy of Bulletstorm Epic Edition will have access to the Gears 3 beta. Unfortunately, there will be a limited amount of Epic Editions.

Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm. With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that’s what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans.

This is a smart move on Epic’s part as it promotes Gears of War 3 while giving fans of the franchise a reason to buy Bulletstorm. This is similar to what Microsoft did with Crackdown which included the beta for Halo 3.

The Epic Edition will retail for the same price as the standard edition, but supplies will be limited.
