Next-gen FPS footage leaks on Web
Want to see some gameplay footage from a next-gen first-person shooter? Unfortunately that doesn’t exist, but one guy’s idea of what it could, should, and hopefully will, look like does. And it’s pretty damn awesome.
As brilliant as some of this generation’s FPS games have been, and this is one genre that has been given a new lease of life on the newer consoles, there is always better to come. The next-gen consoles, whenever they happen to arrive on the scene, will up the ante in terms of visuals, and the following video is how YouTube user FreddieW imagines them looking.
I want that game; that non-existent except in the minds of some rather creative types online game. It’s Call of Duty but so much more. It’s like you’re actually there, in the game, because, well, they were when they filmed it with helmet-mounted cameras.
The problem may be that the game, if technology ever catches up to this vision, is too realistic. I mean, that would be like actually shooting someone in the head. Where’s Jack Thompson when he’s needed?

We all know ms will fuck up if they try to make a console any stronger. It will over heat in seconds.

So MS had intial problems with the 360. Its not like any system has never had any problems at launch. People seem to forget about how the PS2 had alot of problems of its own.
MS did what it could to fix the problem and the 360 is a more reliable system now.
They could totally make a new console that is more powerful and it would do fine. Of course like any new thing it will have its bugs and problems.
And for the record I rarely ever buy a new console within the first year of launch. I like to give it some time to settle down and have some of the initial bugs worked out.
Only thing I ever bought on Launch day was the PSP. Which my LD PSP still works perfectly, but appearently I got a good unit cause there was a HUGE problem with LD PSPs having bad LCD screens, especially dead pixels.

But I guess you need it to think the 360 has any games close to the ps3 in graphics. Lol the 3shitty had more than a few launch problems. Unless by that you mean every single 3shitty died for the first 3 years.
I would like to see ms or Sony build depots that you can go in and do full body scans and upload it to put you in the games. I would pay to do that.
