Google not a fan of video games?
Video games. I’m a fan, you’re a fan, millions of others are fans. But Google, not so much.
OK, so that’s not strictly true, but Google Search certainly throws up some hateful suggestions when it comes to video gaming, as noted by BattleStrats. The top suggestions for so many terms are negative rather than positive.
Search for ‘Xbox Kinect is’ and a populist suggestion to complete the sentence is ‘Racist’. Search for ‘Playstation Move is’ and a populist suggestion is ‘Gay’. In fact, ‘Gay’ is a pretty popular suggestion for all sorts of gaming terms, including ‘Bungie’, ‘Black Ops’, ‘Super Mario’, and ‘Solid Snake’.
These suggestions are based on how often these terms are searched for, so rather than Google being to blame it’s me, you, and the millions of other people who use Google to search for gaming terms. Which clearly includes people who aren’t exactly fans of gaming, as summed up by ‘Video games are bad’.

Google suggestions are often hilarious… type in the first few words of any question and see the search habits of us internet users.
