Mortal Kombat: X-ray moves are disturbing
NetherRealm Studios, formerly known as Midway Games recently released a video explaining the new gruesome X-ray mode in Mortal Kombat. This mode shows off the bone crunching damage your opponent will experience during a fight.
IGN sat down with the crew at NetherRealm Studios to discuss the details around this violent action mode. The X-ray mode reveals bones crunching, muscles ripping and even organs exploding moves from various fatal contacts during the fight.
In order to craft this mode, the developers had to create custom organs, muscles and bones underneath each character. Each player will have a different X-ray move depending on fighting style and personality.
Some of the moves will actually make you cringe a bit, especially the neck snapping ones.

The X-ray moves may be the next best thing since the introduction of “Fatalities.” The game is set to release April 19 across the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Fans of God of War will be happy to find out that the PS3 version of the game will have Kratos as an exclusive playable character.

I stopped caring at MK3. I got MK vs DC for a gift, but like most fighters I barely play it.
MK2 for me was MK in it’s prime. It was the one I played in the arcades and on Genesis the most with friends.

The new one, from what I read appears to be Raiden sending a message back to himself in the past, warning him of the impending apocalypse.
kinda cool concept.
The locations and it reminding me of my favorite MK game will likely make it a purchase. Of course like most fighting games, I think I’ll wait on it, because they see the bargain bin in under three months.

You can turn notifications off ncaissie.
BC2′s issue is that you have to be online to play the game, which is a offline game. It by requiring you to logged in it means you won’t be able to share it with you daughter’s profile or console.

I just beat Alan Wake.
It was definately a great game, but like any other game it did have its faults. Not enough to prevent me from enjoying it though.
The environments were amazing looking.
Enemy types were definately repetetive though, but its understandable given the storyline behind it all.
What I find hilarious is that Alan Wake is a friggin writer and he cant do any melee attacks, however he can shoot like a friggin life-long hunter, even though he never held a gun before the events that take place in the game. He even mentions that in game too.
