BioWare doing a Valve – free Mass Effect 2 with Dragon Age II
Dragon Age II just hit the one million mark two weeks earlier than the first Origins game. In celebration of this achievement BioWare is handing out free copies of Mass Effect 2 to those that have purchased the game.
It looks like Valve is not the only developer handing out free copies of its games as BioWare is offering a free copy of Mass Effect 2 for the PC to those who purchase Dragon Age II. This offer is in effect until April 30, so gamers can still take advantage of this deal.
Thanks to gamers like you, Dragon Age II is off to a great start – breaking the 1 million mark in less than two weeks and faster than Dragon Age: Origins. We appreciate your support. As a special thank you for helping with the game’s early success, BioWare would like to present you with a download code for 2010′s Game of the Year, Mass Effect 2 on PC.
According to BioWare, gamers will be eligible regardless of the platform (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) they purchase Dragon Age II on. Gamers who pickup Dragon Age II used will not be able to take advantage of this deal as it requires activation of the Online Pass.
The offer for the free copy of Mass Effect 2 is only through digital download via the EA Store. Check out the official BioWare site for full instructions.

I’m nearing the end of DA2. It’s good, but it sucks they only created less than 10 unique environments for a 50 hour game. It really feels like a cash grab move. Not sure if EA or Bioware is to blame there.
For example there is one generic cave, house, sewer, alleyway, etc they reuse a million times – but they’re supposed to be totally different locations. Despite that, I’m still enjoying the game. I definitely will NOT be pre-ordering the inevitable DA3 though.

@BJ
I just finished Act 1 on my second playthrough, so I know exactly what your talking about with the reused environments.
The environments are more reused in DA2 than in ME 1 or 2. I think it is more annoying in DA2.
BJ isn’t kidding when he says “one generic cave, house, sewer, alleyway, etc they reuse a million times ”
Despite that DA2 is enjoyable though. Just not as good as 1.

Yeah it is good, but it has some major flaws.
I just picked up the Ultimate Editions of Origins. Looking forward to checking that out after DA2.
